We moved out of Lake Elsinore a few years ago but return once a year to do get our taxes done. Once we finish, we always go to Panda Palace. We actually look forward to it for the entire year.
I solemnly looked at my husband yesterday while we were enjoying our family dinner and said, "We had this place right down the street from us and we didn't eat there every day?" We did eat there frequently, when the restaurant was in its prior location across the street. I can tell you that we have been eating here for over 10 years and have always been completely satisfied with the service, price, quantity, and quality of the food.
The food is fresh and hot and they are generous with the portions, including the meat. The prices have increased slightly, by a dollar or two, but it still beats any fast food place out there. Plus there are usually leftovers, so you get another meal out of it.
We live about an hour away now and there is no Chinese restaurant at the same level as Panda Palace where we live. We have tried every restaurant within a 20-mile radius and every one has had something disappointing about it, whether the food being cold in the middle, the food getting soggy or limp, the meat having too much gristle, or the vegetables being overcooked. Not so with Panda Palace. Everything is truly perfect. Best Chinese restaurant within 60...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place slaps so hard every time we come in. The food is amazing- my favorite is the orange chicken and my husband's favorite is the mushroom chicken, both are excellentand must tries if you havent already. The customer service is always on point. The lovely ladies in there today are very excellent. We were waiting to order after someone who had a very large order- like seemed at least a dozen plates and boxes- and both ladies worked hard together to get the order together as quickly as possible as the line behind us kept growing. They definitely noticed my husband was practically salivating at how good all the food looked and they kept assuring us every so often that they would be right with us and apologized for our wait and even made sure to tell my husband when they got to the last 2 plates of the precious order. Which to me is a big deal because we saw the order lined up and knew it was nothing they could do to make our wait less and the courtesy to acknowledge us while we waited is not something commonly done anymore. They had such great attitudes and genuine smiles the entire time we were there with every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I were extremely disappointed by the food at Panda Palace tonight. Hereās why: My wifeās Orange Chicken was soggy from sitting in the steam table. On a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being the best, this was a 1. Her Mushroom Chicken had no flavor or sauce on it. This was rated a 1. She took 2 bites of these and threw them out. My Kung Pao Chicken was terrible. No hot peppers, and the sauce that they cooked it in lacked flavor. In fact, it was the same sauce that was in my Broccoli Beef. The zucchini was juicy. Iād rate the Kung Pao as a 2. Speaking of Broccoli Beef, normally the sauce is dark brown and flavorful. Not at Panda Palace. The sauce tasted like dishwater. The beef was tender and the broccoli fresh. Iād rate it a 2. I would rate the fried rice at 3 and the chow mein at 2. The teriyaki chicken was pretty good. Letās give it a 3.
In summary, we were disappointed and wouldnāt go back. Sorry...
