Horrible customer service. The guy who picks up the phone to take your order is rude. No common courtesy talks to you like your trash but expects you to order from them. The owner who I've known for 15 years. What didn't even get on the phone with me? To discuss something my family have been ordering from. Hammond, his family for many years. And now they expect you to spend almost $26 before tax, not including delivery fee. So with delivery fee, which is $6. That's 31 something with taxes. It's. Almost $40 just to do it one order. But since their customer service is completely gone. Now they have no customer service anymore. The Sun and the father have been normally great for years. I've dealt with them. I have never had issues or a bad order but today I ordered 2 pizzas and 1 was incorrect but didn't notice till I got home. So I called and their solution was for ME to DRIVE BACK to them and switch the pizza. That's it no dessert or extra thing for going back. Or get 15% off next pizza. I asked for them to deliver the correct pizza to me and I'll return the incorrect one but he said no because "THEY WILL BE LOOSIKG MONEY" I told them that was their mistake tho and why do I have to waste my time and gas for a mistake they made. I’ve been coming to Sports Pizza for at least a year and they never once wrote my card number down or double charged me. They put your card into a machine, just like they would anywhere else, and run the transaction. So, please don’t be fooled by BS reviews. The owner is one of the most honest gentleman I’ve ever met and the food is fantastic. Sure, when they’re busy the quality dips just a bit, but it’s definitely not anything I’d write a terrible review over. Plus, if you have a complaint I know for a fact if you let the owner know he would go above and beyond to make it right. I was talking to the owner during my last pickup and told him I really liked a competitors specialty pizza. He asked what was on it, then when my order was ready he tells me he included an attempt to recreate the competitors dish for me to try. All he asked is that I give him my honest opinion next time. Bottom line - great pizza, way cheaper than competitors, honest owner, quick and quality customer service. Hands down one of the better pizza places in Elsinore. Give it a try and see...
