The customer service is lack luster. The staff is not very helpful or knowledgeable. I asked for help selecting beads that would fit string I wanted to get. I was told they did not think the beads would fit. I asked if anyone could assist me in the aisle. My question was ignored.
I went back and spent 30 mins looking for beads that would fit the string I wanted to get. No one came to assist me. When I did asked for help again, the lady kept telling me, "Well just bring it back in 30 days if it does not work for you."
I asked if anyone there knew about beading and I was told again, "Well, you have 30 days to bring it back." I started telling her I usually am able to ask someone for help who knows about crafting or something and inquired if it were anyone like that there. I was then asked if I would like a bag for 7 cents. She did not even acknowledge what I said.
If I went to Joann's the service would have been better. There also is a lot of unstocked and opened items. There are cameras all around in almost every aisle but I guess it does not stop the theft.
I am very taken aback by quality of this Michael's. I hate to think the service is lack luster due to it being in a predominately brown area. This is the first time I have ever experienced this at a Michael's.
At checkout, I was not even given the option to use my $5 off coupon. I am really only coming here if I have a crafting emergency and know EXACTLY what I'm getting. Joann has better coupons and better service as well. TERRIBLE!...

I had to wait in line only to have the cashier say," it wasn't over there?" Over where?! There was no sign that said pick up online orders here. She proceeds to tell me that if it's small, you pick it up over there. If it's big, we keep it over here. How would I know what you consider big or small? Also, if it's small, you just pick it up and go. Mind you, the rack is close to the door, with no attendant. This is not the location I typically frequent.
