Rainbow Shops — Local services in Lake Township

I shop at Rainbow all the time, I mean ALL the time. I recently purchased some items online... 47 items to be exact!! Out of the 47 items only 4 things had to be returned. So I went into Rainbow Shops at 105 w 87th st. This is where it started to go left. I picked 4 items. 1 to even exchange & 3 to purchase. 1st the cashier "dont like to do these" 2nd the manager is rude & uncooperative. So I'm finally done & get the receipt to realize they gave me a merchandise credit. "Excuse me, Rainbow don't credit back payment method?" Yeah but u only get merch. credit bcuz it's behind 7 days. I remind her that I shopped online & received my items on the 5th & that Wednesday was only the 6th day from delivery & she said nothing could be done. So on to returning the blouse that was bought in the 3. "Oh u can't do that without the receipt. "I don't want a refund I just want a bigger size blouse" no u need the receipt. So I leave. TODAY realizing it was the last day to return the blouse, since I no longer need it, I went to do so ONLY to get there at 7:21p for the guard to say they're closed. I stated..." the website says 8p how are u closed now & it was updated last wk to confirm 8pm to someone who asked!! The guard rudely told me to get away bcuz I wasn't getn in. It was at that point I decided to write this review. I am not this person normally bcuz I realize bad days occur, but it was to many issues with this 1 store.

I initially went to the Rainbow in Hammond, IN it was fabulous! I was able to walk around and find the things I was looking for. The store was clean and not cluttered. I had to exchange an item. That bought me to the city on 87th Street which took my review down a star. It was too much stuff in there. Only the salesperson knew where to find the item and it took her a few minutes. It's junky and cluttered! They need to restock and remove some stuff and save it for later, but they did have what I was looking for in my size and color. I found some nice things. The staff was nice my first visit. I went back because unfortunately the shoes I bought, I did not check nor did the cashier but in the box was 2 right shoes. When I returned to get the correct shoe, the cashier gave me a really hard time. She accused me of wearing the shoes, idk how anyone can wear 2 right shoes and she did not want to let me get the correct shoe!
