If there was an option for ZERO STARS, I would give it. I ordered through Doordash for pickup. I ordered at 7:45. The app told me that the order would be ready between 8:20 and 8:30. I get there at 8:20. I looked on the shelf tables everywhere - no order. I waited and waited and waited and waited. People came and went taking orders. A gentleman that was in the store way before I arrived and myself where the only two customers left. They tell us our orders were on the shelf. I stated mine was not. The woman then said you placed your order after 8:10 and we don't take orders after 8:10. I advised that I placed my order at 7:45. She then decides to look at the computer and wouldn't you know it, my order was there. She then tells me well your order was ready at 8 something - like it is my fault that the order is not on the shelf. I then calmly tell her that it should not matter when I picked up the order it should be there when I arrive- period. She then proceeds to tell me that they are not making anymore orders and I can come back tomorrow and she will pull up the order AND SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO-. I politely said that will never happen. I called Doordash, got my refund and credits for inconvenience and I will be speaking with the DISTRICT MANAGER - as I was told by the security guard that she was the manager. That is why we cant have things in our neighborhood. You have a security guard that says this happens all the time but you are putting NOTHING in place to ensure that this does not happen. 87th and the Dan Ryan has never been my favorite place to patronize and I WILL NOT BE BACK. When it closes and they have to try to scramble to find jobs at other locations, then they will understand. TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. That is all. I don't need ANYONE from that location trying to comment to make this right. Your time to make it right was when you knew that my...
Read moreDid a online order near closing time the food was horrible and they were out of chips. So now the next day I take the food back and they call for a remake so I'm standing there waiting and they call out no more lettuce for the rest of the night mind you the line was ongoing they continued to clear the line I'm still standing there so now they clear another line of customers so a few minutes later they give me a bag and I ask the young man is he sure because he was about to give it to another customer until she told him that wasn't hers. So now I check my bag and guess what there's no lettuce on my order now I want to speak to the manager someone came but said the manager wad not there so now I want the purchase credited back to my card because had they started the remake when they were first told of it my order would have been complete then to top it all off while talking to guy about what happened one of the chicks came over to offer her explanation as to what happened oh yes I did told her in no uncertain way that wasn't talking to her the young man politely sent her back to her station and now I've made several attempts to contact the store manager guess what they don't answer the phone you have to leave a message I for one still haven't got a call back I feel that this store is prime reestate accessible to the community and the expressway I feel like every customer from the time you open til you close should have complete orders served at the time of purchase one night no chips next night no lettuce come on now someone's not getting the restaurant inventory order right. Read moreOkay.. on the door the hours posted state the restaurant opens at 10:30. Online it says 10:45. I waited until 10:55 when they finally opened the door. About 10 people came in and I heard what I can only assume was the manager say, "we can't let nobody else in here, we not doin this first thing in the morning!" As I looked around in disbelief, the security guard stood at the front door, barring anyone else from entry.. then the manager began yelling that if we wanted guacamole, we were subject to the people in front of us taking the rest.. "it's on a first come basis cuz we don't have anymore guac!" No more guacamole at OPENING... Okay..
So I proceed with my order, asking for extra rice in my bowl because it looked a little scarce and I was informed that it would be $1 extra.. alright.. I finish placing my order and get ready to pay when I ask for lemon.. I was then informed that only ONE cup of lemon comes with my two burrito bowls and any more cups would be $1 each.. if the lemon filled the cup I think I would be okay with just one. But as you can see by the picture, there's only two very small wedges of lemon rattling around in a cup. The cashier "graciously" gave me two cups without charging me after she saw my face. And then, when I went to grab a napkin, there WEREN'T any.. that's because they were behind the counter because "people steal them." Not my words, the worker's words.
After all this headache, the food is tasty but COLD and it seems they save money by opting to NOT trim the fat from their steak. If you want Chipotle, go to the one on 95th and...
