In the early 90s, our Bank Team was provided a factory Tour by Ed Opler Jr., son of World's Finest founder Ed Opler Sr. He took pride of his father's product which was unmatched and new every phase of the production. He had that smile of a proud son of his father's product and business. Chicago also took pride of World's Finest and fund raising opportunities. World Finest was known for its full almonds; its unique flavor, it made a name for itself. Unfortunately, I can not speak of this no longer. Even the bars for fundraising got smaller. The flavor is no longer there, the crushed almonds which has been like this for years took away what World's Finest represented. if you needed to make cuts or save monies, that could have been found elsewhere. People and supporters would have continued to purchase the bars because of its quality, flavor, and its uniqueness. I know of a company that has been ordering the World's Finest for over 65 years and they too throughout the years have noticed that World Finest is not what it use to be and represented. They are really thinking about ordering annual chocolates from elsewhere. The flavor of the chocolates this past holiday season were no longer there. If this continues, World's Finest will disappear and be no more. We want to feel pride again for World Finest, Chicago's very own, what your grandfather started and father continued. Maybe make a sacrifice work on the floor with your production workers, maybe they have ideas how to work smarter and not harder and returning the full almonds and not lose its taste. Maybe cut your CEO salary. A constructive criticism from a Disappointed Chicago local from Back...

Read moreI’ve been purchasing the cordial cherries for years and in the last couple, every single box I purchased the cherries would be damaged with the filling spilled out. This is from the factory, as there’s no damage to the box. I decided to look up this company and found this is definitely a known issue and apparently the company could care less. There’s a supposedly a great deal of controversy around not only their QC but other areas. I won’t be buying any of their...
