I have been attending BTC regularly since July and I am very happy. The congregation is very cordial and warm hearted. Aside from Sunday service, there are courses that are offered to either introduce one to Buddhism or extend one's knowledge of the religion. I have attended both the Intro to Buddhism course and also meditation (which is offered on both Sundays and Thursdays). Rev. Patti is very interactive with members of the temple and is very approachable, which is a huge plus. Sometimes places of worship can be a little intimidating but this is definitely not one of them. There is also a sense of open-mindedness when you attend the temple - there is not a sense of urgency for you to join the temple and stay in one place. There is also an original altar from the 1940s American internment camps in the rear.
