Clarendon Community Center Park — Attraction in Lake View Township

On September 1st, 2024, while walking west on Montrose heading home, a red SUV suddenly stopped. A person, a black youth, emerged and demanded my phone, wallet, and backpack at gunpoint. Excellent place for any students that aren't enrolled in any after school activities! This place has a basketball court, pong pong, pool tables, complete gym, workout room upstairs & tennis court! To my knowledge there is NO membership needed or anything of that nature, it's totally free & an awsome place all around! Definitely recommend people...

Park is nice and has a community feel. I play softball on the Southwest softball diamond. There is a moderately sized playground with water/splash park for the kids.
