A few weeks back we moved close to the area and stopped by with our Uhual in hopes of finding patio furniture. The representative working, Todd seemed nice but was a little pushy with purchasing items. We had been shopping all day and decided to settle with some of their clearance items because we needed things in stock. Their clearance items seemed to be regular priced to me but he ensured their items were way better quality than other stores. We picked out our items and then checked out with Todd. Honestly the checking out process was longer than expected because they don’t scan their items they manually enter everything and then just tell you the price you owe. I patiently waited while he rang everything up and he repeated to me multiple times what I was purchasing to make sure he didn’t miss anything. He then told me the total and I paid (sounds like a normal transaction right??) ohh and did I mention we spent $1400 DOLLARS on 2 loveseats and a table ... that’s the clearance price and then over the past few weeks we have been getting threatening calls stating we owe $53.00 making it seem like we stole something or did something wrong when Todd forgot to ring something up or that is what they say and now being told our debt will go to collections unless we come in and pay it. I have worked for many companies over my lifetime and if something is our mistake the company makes it right and doesn’t continue to harass and threaten their customer to come back and pay $50!!!??? I would understand if it was a big amount of money but where does $50 come from and how can a company call you after you leave and pay what you are told to pay and then say you owe more!!? We honestly were fine with paying it even though we weren’t sure why or how we owed it but hadn’t had time to go in and I’m not giving someone my card number over the phone for a company that is telling me I owe $50 after I leave their store. Just not a company I would suggest purchasing from if you don’t want to get a random bill after you leave and then are threatened it will go to collections.
I guess they don’t want us to come back for future business....
Read moreWe have not received our cushions yet so I can not let you know about quality as of now. As far as organization and communication within this establishment is horrible. We placed an order March 27 and had to call four time to find out the the fabric we ordered was on back order then was told to chose another fabric. After that we finally went and placed a new order for a different fabric, we called and were told they placed an order of the new fabric we chose (we did not call to confirm the new color they took it upon themselves to order a color we had just discussed and took samples home to try), a few days later we get a call the order was never put in. Then they proceed to tell us that we can pay for a rush order or wait another 6 weeks. As if this was all of our fault they did not communicate anything with us, we had to call multiple times to get any answers. Let me remind you we paid up front 1200.00 for cushions! Everything was of course blamed on covid, not the fact they are dishonest and need to be upfront with customers and communicate with them. Rush orders are pushed before other orders meaning that if someone orders the same fabric they will get the last of it even if your cushions are meant to be sent out that week. It is a mess! Disorganized! We are business owners ourselves and yes a lot of things with covid and shipping is out of control, but being upfront and letting customers know there is no guarantee when you will receive cushions, fabric can run out of stock at any moment, not being restocked for a long...
Read moreUPDATE Have to give credit where credit is due. Leaders came thru and worked to help get the cushions done (alternate fabric) and the table boards replaced. Thank you Leaders for finally stepping up.
What a disappointment. Went to Leaders looking to treat ourselves with higher end designed outdoor furniture that we were hoping would last years. A week after our order got a call we owed them $2000 more dollars. Already 12000 in so we paid it. Terrible. This was months ago, still don't have our cushions, the table is scratched and lost finish with minimal use on a covered Lanai. We were sold on the super warranty, where if "anything goes wrong we just come out and make it right" Yeh right! Told we need to buy a special protectant (for outdoor supposedly life long furniture!???)and they would come out and "show us how to take care of good furniture" WHAT?! I'm worried cause all the furniture is made of this and now we are just waiting for it all to look damaged. We have been beyond patient and understanding and kind with everything going on. Still haven't had anyone come out to look at table, still no cushions, $15,000 (yup!) later, and I just wish I could give it all back and go to Sam's Club or Lowe's and buy some decent affordable furniture that would probably last longer than this mess at Leaders (ordered...
