Fusion&Sabor Kitchen — Restaurant in Lakeland

My wife and I decided to try that new Latin restaurant that just opened in the strip mall where Café Zuppina first started. Fusion & Sabor is a small restaurant located in Courtyard Center at 4417 South Florida Ave, in Lakeland. We were greeted when we walked in the door and placed our order at the nearby counter (no table service). Since arepas feature prominently on their menu, that what we went with. I ordered the Shredded Beef arepa, which has shredded beef, onion, garlic, green pepper cheese and cilantro (which they happily omitted on my request). We also shared a side order of Veggie Samosas (2 pieces) which came with a small cup of Tamarind sauce for dipping. My wife ordered the Chicken Masala arepa, which has chicken, onion, garlic, ground masala and ginger. They prepared the food from scratch, so there was a short wait, but it was well worth it. The arepas and samosas all were delicious! The inside of the restaurant is bright and welcoming and there are only 5 tables (I did say it was a small restaurant). The menu features arepas, sandwiches, empanadas and pastelitos of various flavors. This little place needs your patronage! We were there at 3 p.m. on a Monday and were the only customers. This is by far the most authentic venezuelan restaurant in The city of Lakeland. This is open to anyone who wants to taste the delicious flavor of venezuelan cousine. Cheff Ana, original from Puerto Ordaz Venezuela recomended me the steak sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Absolutely delighted in every aspect 🩵

First of all, the cleanness of the place, with its comfortable chairs and relaxing ambience, make this hidden gem stand out for sure. Music volume is just perfect . You could have a nice conversation or/and be on your computer with not much distractions or loud music playing on the background.
