Spirit Halloween — Local services in Lakeland

Spirit has been the go to place for Halloween merchandise for as long as I can remember, Today however has to be the best visit I’ve ever had there. From the moment me and my family came into the store we were greeted with the familiar styles of the holiday mixed with some of the new pop culture costumes, animatronics, and of course the friendliest and most helpful bunch of salesmen I’ve ever met, Especially Lumi. They had so much knowledge about the products around the store and whenever I’d ask about something in particular they would lead me straight to what we were looking for. I came in for some home decor and Lumi definitely helped me narrow it down to some choice spooky products that will be sure to improve me and my child’s Halloween this year. I am beyond impressed with this spirit Halloween. Firstly, the location is spot on! South Lakeland has needed a spirit for ages and it’s perfectly located with lots of parking and wheelchair access. My second favorite thing about the stores is the layout. They strategically placed the small children’s costumes directly where you can see them upon entry as well as, leave most of the large scary displays in the middle and towards the back of the store. It’s hard to take children into Spirt stores often due to the frightening displays (granted it’s Halloween, I get it) but they did a great job keeping this in mind. In addition to the location and layout, they have a wonderful selection of costumes with variety of sizing. We always struggle to find smaller costumes for the kiddos — not today! I would have liked to see more supplies for "less demonic" costumes. They have a huge inventory, all kind of expensive, but it's seasonal so that's to be expected. I was hoping for a battery powered, orange micro-LED light set but that wasn't available. The clear micro light sets on tiny copper wires are available from many different retailers, so I thought they would be available in orange. They didn't have that either.
