Editing to add an update after about a year. After the below review, I had to bring the phone back several times due to the screen they used not working. I was told they got a “faulty batch of parts” and they continued to repair it for me. After a few months, I got a small black spot on the top left of my screen, after no fall or incident. The spot slowly began to grow. Upon taking my phone to another place to be examined, they took my case off to show me the screen was not properly put in on the upper left side. The black seal is so thick it’s raising the screen up on the upper left side, causing a seperation, leading to the black spot that’s going to continue to grow.
I called ubreakifix to express my concerns, and noted I thought the small black spot was fine and I wasn’t concerned as it wasn’t imparting my use of the phone, but as it’s continued to grow and impair my use I am concerned. I told them I am outside my warranty, and they said no issue as it sounds like it was a repair error, and to bring my device in. When I brought it in, they apologized and stated they absolutely could not repair under the warranty, even though I was told they could.
Now over half my phone is unusable due to no fault of my own. When I called last, to schedule a repair, they stated bring the phone in at 4pm. I brought the phone in, to be told they had no time to complete the repair today.
I simply won’t be returning or recommending them to anyone. I was previously impressed with how kind and courteous they were on the first repair. But using knowingly faulty parts, continuously repairing, completing a shotty repair job, and then refusing to fix it… that’s beyond terrible service.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The left side of my iphone 11 pro max suddenly stopped working after a minor fall. I brought my device to UbreakIfix just to get an idea if i should repair or replace and was met with outstanding service.
They diagnosed the issue , ordered me a new screen, and even offered to replace my battery while my phone was open to extend the life of my phone. My part arrived within 4 days of ordering (ordered over the weekend), snd my phone was totally repaired and ready within one hour from drop off. The screen is good as new, if not better than when i dropped it off!! Not to mention my battery health is at 100% now. Now my phone will last me several more upgrades that what I had originally planned it to last!!
And just to add— other places quoted me over 400 dollars for just the screen. They completed it for 274 INCLUDING TAX. Will never go...

So I have asurion home+ plan.
My TV fell and they’re telling me the only thing covered for tv is electrical surges and technical damage. How tf….!? When you apply for they tend to keep that of the initial info. So my smart tv are essentially without coverage and that’s the main reason I got this “ coverage” cause I had 4 smart tvs now it’s 3 and asurion is useless to help.
Furthermore, I’ve had watch claim open for months and still no resolution and this is after they’ve destroyed the watch at their center. I’ve been waiting on a buy out that won’t be enough money to replace the device. At one point they even told me they didn’t receive my device. If I didn’t have my usps receipt who knows what lies they’d make up to avoid getting me the payment.
All in all, Dealing with asurion has been more of a hassle than I care to admit. I plan on canceling my plan in the near future cause every time I talk to them I feel disappointment and angry. I thought my home devices were covered. Mind you I have a 3 year old. This plan is just not with it.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SERVICES. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH.
Anytime I was wondering about what’s going on with the plan I called and they weren’t working on the claim unless I was making calls. That’s why my watch claim is still incomplete even though they’ve closed the claim! With no resolution after they’ve told me the payout was being processed LOL TOTAL AND COMPLETE JOKE. I bet the customer service get euphoria from dealing with dissatisfied customers!

After a disastrous experience with IFixandRepair at the Mulberry Walmart (see my review below for the full saga), I reached out to uBreakiFix at Town Center hoping they could help me before I left for an out-of-state trip. My phone’s screen was literally popping out of the frame, thanks to my previous experience, and I was incredibly anxious that it might be too late to fix it in time.
From the very first call, this team was everything you’d hope for: kind, clear, responsive, and truly professional. They asked if I could bring it in so they could take a look. I arrived around 5PM (they close at 7PM), and honestly I didn’t expect much with so little of the day left, but I was greeted with immediate attention and genuine concern for my situation.
After quickly examining my phone, they explained that the screen separation was due to a swollen battery, and not only could they fix that, but they could also replace the battery (my original issue) before closing time. I was ecstatic.
After explaining my previous experience, they even went the extra mile to show me a Google Pixel feature called “Repair Mode,” which password protects your data while still allowing your phone to be repaired. An amazing tip I never knew about.
From start to finish, the staff were communicative, compassionate, and clear. They explained everything in a way I could actually understand (I know nothing about phones), and most importantly, they solved my problem and then some. Quickly, kindly, and competently.
