I took my mom here to get a pedicure while I got an acrylic fill. The guy who did my nails, did a great job and I was happy with my service but I felt completely ripped off with all the additional charges that were added for a simple fill. Firstly, they charged $30 for an acrylic fill which was reasonable, however they then added another $18 for gel (which I've never heard of before). Acrylic has always been done with gel at every single nail salon I've been to and not with regular nail polish before - but if they wanted to charge for that the fine, but at least TELL ME. They said nothing about this additional charge nor did they ask if I wanted regular or gel nail polish which suggests that they know everyone will assume that gel is included in the cost. Next, they then charged an additional $2 to cut my previous acrylic nails and re-shape them... isn't that supposed to be part of the service? And if I didn't cut them, I know I would've been charged for having long nails... so if I can't avoid either charge, how is that fair and shouldn't one of the services be included in the flat rate? So, I paid $50 for a simple acrylic fill -.-

Finally, the guy who did my mom's pedicure was in such a rush that he did not do a great job in actually scrubbing anything. She also asked for french tips and he gave her the most gigantic white lines I've ever seen that were also uneven. Even when putting on the final top coat, he was in such a rush that a big glob of polish was running down her toe and he didn't even see it until I mentioned it to him. I get being busy, but we're paying for a service and should be treated with care accordingly.

Far from tranquil experience. I was anxious!

I had a mixed experience at this salon. Natasha was wonderful—very sweet and peaceful, and she did a full set on me. The establishment itself is physically okay. However, the owner, Kim, was overbearing and rude. I sat in the pedicure chair from 12:30 PM and didn’t leave until 4:30 PM. Why? Kim likes to micromanage and took over, having both her and Natasha working on my feet, but Kim did the polish, which was unsatisfactory.

When I expressed that I liked the pedicure but not the polish job, Kim, the owner, raised her voice, telling me she tried to help me out and wasn’t going to fix it or give me a discount. She refused to wipe off the polish and redo it. She walked away while I was talking to her respectfully and professionally. I waited until I was done with my nails to address the situation again, and she continued with the rude behavior—yelling and dismissing me.

I observed Kim, the owner, leaving clients waiting to control what everyone was doing. I am so angry and feel so disrespected, especially since it was my birthday, and I drove 40 minutes for relaxation and good service. Instead, I was anxious the entire time due to the chaotic environment in the salon. Now, I am three hours behind for my event. I also noticed that all the workers seemed anxious as Kim glared at them with angry faces.

First, I want to say that I chose this nail salon because the receptionist was wonderful! She was so kind and helpful on the phone, and I had a really good feeling about trying out this salon for the first time. The salon is beautiful, and everyone is very friendly. The manager is adorable. My issues are with the service I received. I took my mom to get pedicures while she was visiting me for the week. We both decided on a pedicure upgrade, and specifically chose the pedicure we did because it included a ten minute leg and foot massage. My massage clocked in at just over three minutes, and my mom’s was four minutes. I am extremely disappointed with this, since we specifically chose this upgraded pedicure for the longer massage. My pedicure technician also informed me that she was unable to do any sort of design on my toes, unless I got gel polish. This is the fist time I have ever been turned down for a design, and I have never gotten gel polish. The pedicures both turned out fine. Our nails look good.
