Confused Liars. They supposedly had "hidden" gift cards that were hidden for customers to easily see and find. After looking everywhere in the store for hours and speaking to the manager who didn't even know where the cards were hidden at and to the employees that actually hid the cards, they confirmed the cards weren't where they hid them at and they were all confused. I was told just before closing time to come back the next day and speak with another manager and maybe they would give me a gift card to spend in the store for wasting my time and for them not realizing why or where the gift cards were at because nobody claimed them. After coming back the next day and talking with a different manager and also the same manager about this, they lied and said the cards had been found the previous day after I left the store which was a lie because that was when I was told that they weren't found and the store was closing with nobody claiming to have found any. They could have been more organized or had a preplan of where the cards were hidden to make it easier to know if and when the cards were found "if any were even really where they were supposed to have been" their prices for used items are also cheaper to buy new at retail stores. They tag very worn used shoes just because of the brand name for higher prices. The furniture is ridiculously over priced no matter what the excuse to "help others" is to mark up the prices. Not to mention they also have an ebay site to try and sell for even more money to "help others" the reason why "us others" are shopping there to be able to afford used items at a...
Read moreFour dollars for used shirts that have the seams falling out and were donated to the store for free? A bit crooked if you ask me. If you're making a 100% profit off someone else's hand me down you can at least sell if for a 'used and damaged' price. The weird part is that books and furniture isn't priced too bad... And those aren't necessities like work clothes are. Nearly no blank button up shirts for interviews. The few that are there are either super tiny or enormous. There's plenty of other types of shirts however like ones with logos on them. The changing rooms were a total disaster. Gum, wrappers, blown in leaves, and abandoned clothing littered the floor and benches in each one. Upon leaving it took about five minutes for anyone to notice we wanted to check out. Goodwill stores are cool, and I've seen many nice ones, but this one is one of the most disappointing when it comes to price and what you receive. Why is a hyper sexualized tube top shirt cheaper than a button up shirt a person needs for a job? And it's unraveling thread, has bleach spots, and holes to top it off. It's rather puzzling to me. They have a cute figurine selection, stuffed animals, miscellaneous stuff. And that stuff is sometimes very cheap in price. They also have a little spot about job related things and listings that I...
Read moreUpdate: as for the item they refused to honor at the sale tag price on the board.....I ended up getting it for cheaper than the sale price I was refused purchase with 🤣 just waited a few weeks, no one bought it and I ended up buying it for 75 % off instead of the 50% I was trying to purchase it for. Thank you 🤣
Just lost a loyal customer by the rudeness and aggressiveness of the cashier. I will take my donation directly to the needy before donating to the goodwill again after how I was treated by a cashier who didn't want to honor a priced deemed half off by the sale sign. Instead of handling it respectfully her street attitude got the best of her and she spoke to me as if she was initiating a bar fight. Thank you for such disrespect. The Goodwill should feel proud to have you on their team disrespecting their customers and pushing them away. Take your donations directly to the shelters where they freely give your donations to...
