Hunan King — Restaurant in Lakemore

The food was awful. Every place is worth trying one time and they got their first and last try with me. All 5 members of my family including myself all said this was horrible. We decided to try this place since our regular restaurant Super China in Barberton changed ownership and we don't know if the food or methods will be the same we decided we need a back up Chinese restaurant just incase Super China's new management don't keep things as good as they was. This is not a back up restaurant as a matter in fact 5 out of 5 in my house voted it tasteless and horrible. It's mostly all vegetables, hardly any meat, the vegetables are giant chunks, nothing diced or cut small but huge giant chunks of vegetables, sauce in the dish didn't have a taste, the rice was old and hard on the corners there must have been only about 5 stale peanuts on my Kung pao. The portions was a decent amount but what good does it do when you can only eat half before you can't take it anymore and throw it...

Ordered some fairly basic dishes including fried dumplings, pork with Chinese vegetables, Kung Pao chicken and wonton soup. The Kung Pao did not taste like anything I've had before... and not I a good way. It was in a thick brown sauce with no hint of kick (I did order less hot but still). The pork and veg had barely anything I'd call Chinese besides broccoli and was 40% onions (no cabbage, heart of palm, snow peas, celery or water chestnuts). The sauce was the same thick brown sauce thst was on the Kung Pao which makes no sense. There was not enough sauce to out anything on the rice. The fried dumplings barely touched the pan and were pretty much steamed dumplings that were out in a hot pan on 1 side for a few seconds. I will say the filling was good. The wonton inthe soup were very thick which made them hard to eat. Delivery took 45 minutes but the delivery guy...

Stopped by Hunan King in Springfield Township this evening for the first time. I guess I arrived at the wrong time because the delivery/front counter person and what appeared to be the manager were having a spat about the last "run" and the likelihood that it went to the wrong address. Yes as I waited to place my order and the manager told the front counter 3 times there was a customer I had to listen to the details.

As I looked into the kitchen, not one person had a face covering was not hanging over one ear not covering the mouth and nose. The front counter person included.
