Bruh oh my god, okay, I love Farmer Boy so much. It's my favorite restaurant of all time. Not to overshare, but I go there on days when my mental health is especially bad (I also go when I'm feeling fine. It's not just a sad place for me, I swear), because it's a warm, kind place that keeps me sober and safe from myself when I don't feel stable on my own. I don't have any personal connections to anyone working there, and I don't know anyone who regularly eats there, but it feels like a sort of home, and GOD is the food good. It's so comforting and warm and you get such a generous amount for the price of each dish. The glasses for drinks are insanely small, you order a drink and it seems they bring you out a shot glass for water and soda.
The soup was insanely hot but lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes though were cold and the country fried steak tasted like something you microwaved out out of a hungry man. I tasted some of the fish someone at our table ordered and it was incredibly oily and was not tasty at all.
Haven never eaten here before, I won't make the mistake...
Read moreI live close to Farmer but until this year I have never tried eating at the canton road eatry. The breakfast is a full selection from pancakes to steak and eggs. They serve small pancakes in place of bread for free along with eggs and home fries. The all you can eat fish is served on wednesdays starting at 3 pm and the friday fish starts at 11.30. Its golden fried beer batter and comes with 2 sides for a little over 8 dollars. I had 5 pieces and some home fries along with coleslaw. They have many other sides eat with the all you can eat fish too. Some persons around the restuant are the country and western folk who live close by and love the big breakfasts and generous portions. We slowed down because the food was too good for our...
