decheco’s pizzeria — Restaurant in Lakemore

EDIT so we tried it for the 4th and last time. I’m going to have to down grade my rating. We got the hot honey pizza and it was okay but I didn’t taste any sweet or spicy so I think they forgot the hot honey. I had to add some myself. The garlic Parmesan wings had something wrong with them, they were inedible. They had the worst fishy taste to them, they were disgusting. They even smelled bad. I see a lot of positive reviews but I don’t know how as we have had so many disappointing experiences.

This is the 3rd time we have tried this place-the first 2 were from the other location. We keep hearing how good their pizza is so we keep giving it a try and keep being kind of disappointed. We didn’t like our pepperoni and mushrooms pizzas that much. This time the popeye pizza was pretty good 7/10. The Doritos pizza was just ok, 4/10. I have mixed feelings about this pizza place opening up right next to my home. I’m doing really well on my diet and this place is gonna mess it up because it’s quite literally the best pizza I have ever had. I am very much a pizza hater. I’ve never gotten the hype. It always tasted like tomato sauce cardboard to me and I’ve tried EVERY pizza place ( my boyfriends is a pizza connoisseur) we slowly watched all the work that the new owners put into this place and decided We kinda owed it to them to give them a fair shot considering they got the meal ticket out of there. Let me tell you this place does not disappoint. We tried a small pizza two days after opening and we just went back again because we couldn’t stay away. It has the right amount of everything and their specialty pizzas are fire. I can’t wait to take these pizzas to my office they will be a huge hit. Alright, I'll update my review from 1 star to 5 stars! I originally reviewed it poorly due to only delivering through the delivery apps and it costing so much. However, I've tried it a few times since then and just picked it up and the food is always great. The JoJo's aren't nearly as good as Gioninos, very underseasoned, but a good dipping sauce helps and that's probably just a personal preference. I also wished they tenderized their chicken better, as it's a bit tough, but that's a issue many places have. Overall the food is good, but the people who work there are great. Always nice and hard working, and they cook fast. I'm also impressed with the AI phone system, at first I didn't even realize I was talking to an automated system. It worked pretty well, and I'm sure this really helps the workers focus on the food and not constantly...
