I have been coming to nail trends off and on since 2019. I trusted them when my daughter had her junior and senior prom, and when I had any event to make sure my nails were flawless and my eyebrows were on point. While their friendliness and professionalism has not changed, I started to notice a difference in the quality of their work about a year or so ago so I started going to Nail Boutique off of Quioccasin. Or VA Nails in Short Pump. Well, today I did not feel like driving that far so I decided to go back to nail trends to get a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. I am so upset that I did. I was in and out within 19 minutes for both eyebrows and a pedicure. I was shocked at how quickly my pedicure was done. I was hoping to have a nice, long, relaxing pedicure but what I received was a somewhat erratic rush job. The gentleman that worked on me, is the person that has the spiky hair. He is always nice, and kind, but I think he'd much rather be on his phone than working with a customer. He worked extremely quickly to the point where it was almost uncomfortable at how fast he was putting lotion on my legs and scrubbing my feet. Rather than using both hands at the same time on one leg for massage, he used both hands on both legs to make it quicker. He painted my nails just fine, that he cut one of my nails quite crooked. Needless to say, if I wanted to just paint my nails, I would have done so at home. Where was the experience? And then to top it off, the lady that normally greets people, rushed through my eyebrows and now one is much smaller than the other. I hate that I paid for that service and I am going to have to fix it with an eyebrow pencil. I did inform them that I was disappointed with the service I received today, and she explained to me the reason the pedicure was so short was because it was not a spa pedicure. I told her when a customer comes in, they should ask them what kind of experience they want. Do they want gel, dip, regular? Do they want a pedicure, spa pedicure, manicure? I mean where is the customer service? Needless to say, I will not...
Read moreShoutout to my homegirl Alexis who recommended me to stop by here. My normal pedicure tech was on vacation and I was freaking out because I wanted a place that took care of me the same way. Welp! Nail Trends might have a new client with me. My pedicure was absolutely fantastic and relaxing. My gel polish is still on my feet! (Pedicure done since 4/5/24) and it was so well pedicured and neat. Thank you again and can't wait to return to this friendly, welcoming staff.
As of August, unfortunately I do not know what has happened to the business and customer service but I have to resend my original review. Got a gel pedicure went on a 8 day cruise and my gel came off within 2 days of being in the middle of the ocean. Called to get it fixed the next time I was in town which happened to be a month later. The owner was making a whole scene about taking 5 dollars off which they lucky I even agreed to that after paying $65 for a gel pedicure. I then went to get it fixed with regular polish, tipped the young lady (even though I shouldn’t of tipped anything) and now look at my gel for another out of town trip and this is the BS I have to deal with. I paid $20 for this? Like this can’t be proper business and reality. Run it with better respect and focus on customers and customer service. Won’t be returning unfortunately and have to tell all my friends and you all the same. Go at your own risk....
Read moreA group of us went to this nail spa for Mother’s Day. And what a disappointment, I was given attitude by one of the nail tech when I asked if I could get my nail’s done like hers she said we don’t have time for that today! I requested a certain design on my toes and none of them could execute then when it came time to get my nails done, they gave me to an inexperienced tech. She was very nice, but definitely wouldn’t go to her again for designs. I Was there for two hours so at this point I’m ready to go when I went up to the front. I expressed to the owner my concerns and advised her that I couldn’t stay any longer. I had to leave and then I will come back the next day to get the designs redone because I was not satisfied. I retuned to the salon the day after the tech was not there nor the owner so they called her and I was told that I only said I didn’t like two of my nails and that if I wanted anything else, then I would have to to pay again I told the technician what I wanted done and she laughed at me…. I told her to take the nail polish off, and I walked out. I will never step foot in this nail salon again. Oh, and I forgot to mention as I was paying, she was watching me to make sure that I left a tip. Which made me uncomfortable Just overall a...
