Cove Community Center — Local services in Lakewood

I love this place! It's nice for the seniors to get out and meet each other and just have fun. We play hang man,table-top bowling and sometimes with the H2O teens from camp during the summer, it's a radio show with horror skits from famous people like Vincent Price and Boris Karloff to name a couple and we eat a delicious hot lunch or boxed lunch then go home. They also ask us to vote on what trips we go on like Goodtime 3, Slymans restaurant, shopping at the mall, aquarium, movies etc., It's Great cuz you only live once so enjoy...

They did a great job in remodeling Cove Church and turning it into a Community Center. It is intergenerational and has an elevator. Lakewood Division of Aging is on the main floor, with their offices. Downstairs there is a youth Center, Day Care and Activity Rooms.
