What you will find, cards, handcrafted ornaments from Mr. Hixon himself, collection toons of hand blown, hand painted and even Presidential collections ! Gorgeous tiffany lamps, lead glass window panels, stuffed toys, Halles (downtown Cleveland) memorabilia. Unique turn of the century glass pieces and serving bowls. Definitely a treat to walk in, picking up another piece of Mr. Hixon's handsome handpainted ornaments to add to our tree. You have to take a moment and look at the fantastic hand painted eggs! Stumbled upon this hidden gem of an antique/thrift store. Firstly, if you need anything vintage Christmas or holiday related- this is your store. So many beautiful vintage glass ornaments, hand painted ornaments, collector ornaments, you name it they’ve got it. Second, their antique section isn’t huge but it’s filled with some amazing items- especially items I haven’t seen at other local antique or thrift stores, which is appreciated. A lot of very unique and beautiful Asian antiques… The list goes on, a little bit of something for everyone.

Last week, I was searching for a local florist on-line to order an arrangement for a friend's funeral service. Having been away from Lakewood for the last 35 years, I'd forgotten about Hixon's. Luckily, my sister did not and placed a call. The stunning arrangement far exceeded our expectations. The flowers were beautiful and fresh and the artistry was nothing short of breath-taking.
