GREAT PRICES! The place ain't big nor fancy and you bag yer own, but it is super clean, well lit and has very nice staff! After purchase, there's a dedicated table/ shelf place for you to bag-up your groceries....which is nice if you bag kinda slowly...and it keeps the checkout line moving fast. If you don't care about brand names, Aldi's is the for you! Their generics are equal OR even better than the big name-brand products...for reals. They have fancy stuff too, but it still costs less than all the other grocery stores in town. They cut costs by not carrying multiple brand-names of the same item, but they do have all the basics. Some specialty items too and their organic &vegetarian offerings are at CRAZY-LOW prices. Don't forget to bring a quarter for the shopping cart (it's a quarter, big deal, and u get it back when u return the cart). They pass the savings to you by not having to pay someone else to collect carts from the parking lot all day.....so itz really WORTH the 2 minutes of my time to put the cart back. They have weekly special items at shockingly low costs...just peruse their online ad and youll see. You can't go wrong. After shopping at Aldis and comparing, I honestly could NOT give five stars to any other grocery store in Lancaster. FIVE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt know why people get upset about the random rude cashier. I can understand it places you go to eat that it might put you off if you have an issue and someone doesnāt care about it. But your experience with a cashier, especially at Aldiās, is so brief that why is it worth complaining about it compared with the overall experience? I prefer to look at the location and for me this is one of the best Aldiās locations Iāve ever been to. The one in Palmdale is pretty solid as well but the choices for fruits and the display set up is a little bit better. A lot of supermarkets have suffered in recent years and old are you still have some issues especially when it comes to the fact that they can never stock any beef in California. But I think a lot of that comes from the fact that California wants us to become a lot of long suffering poor people like a Third World country just because they have some notions of social and global engineering. Yeah you have to pay $.25 for a cart but it means they arenāt vandalized and hoarded by homeless people. I just like the layout of this grocery store and Aldiās actually has prices that feel like they arenāt launching into the stratosphere. Solid location, main thing is whether the drive is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI did not have my receipt but had the card number, date and time of purchase. I understand not all POS systems are the same but they do have one thing in common and that's transaction history and ways to locate a receipt (trust me, I know. I worked retail & food before) I gave plenty information to locate my receipt but I just got a "should've had your receipt" I bought a vacuum for $64.99 and only received half of the amount, since it's on clearance. I shouldn't lose $30 over lack of effort. I've been under and experienced better management where they are willing to take information & locate the receipt with the customer. I am hoping someone reaches out and makes the effort cause $30 is not a lot to some but why should they...
