I have struggled with my weight for many years and many different strategies. I went to the orientation at The Camp and while I was excited I was a little hesitant. I still went home and asked for the challenge as a Christmas gift. As it turns out my brother did the honors as a post-Christmas gift. My first week, I was exhausted. I attended the 5 am class and would crawl back into bed as soon as I got home. I needed a power nap! But it got easier. The meal planning was easy but keeping to the schedule was the biggest challenge and making sure I got 7 hours of sleep. Each Monday was nerve racking! However, the staff was amazingly supportive. I was down 4.2lbs the first week and had really hoped for more. Feeling discouraged, I confided in the trainer and his response changed my whole outlook. He said “only 16lbs to go”. I had been looking at my total weight loss goal rather than focusing on the challenge at hand; 20lbs! I ended up losing 25.5 lbs in the 6 weeks! It was not linear (as they will tell you). The camaraderie at The Camp and strategically designed accountability threaded throughout program will push your and support you through to success. One meal at a time, one workout at a time, one pound at a time… best decision of 2016! My brother stated, best $497 he ever spent! If in doubt, work it out and make it happen; you...

Well I signed up for the 20 pound weight lost challenge in 6 weeks. Let me tell you they will kick your butt into shape! If you don't loose the 20 pounds in 6 weeks, you've done something wrong! This just isn't a gym though, its more like a family pushing to take charge of your health. From Day 1 you'll realize that this place doesn't even work like a gym. Most of the time everyone is working on the same or similar exercises, and then you switch to a new exercise, similar to circuit training. In the later weeks it gets changed up slightly, and goes to more of a traditional Gym style where you go by reps. Overall 5 out of 5. The people are nice, and they push you in the right way. The equipment is quality, and the facility is kept clean and at comfortable temperatures. They play a pretty good mix of different workout music, and they're pretty good as accommodating people with special needs: surgeries, health problems, and diets. The only real complaint that I have, is the facility itself is a little small. But you're going there to work out, so it's really not that...

Sucks. They have you believe that you can go to their gym for free if you have 30 or more lbs to loose. You get there for your first visit to find out that it's only free if you #1 write them a check for I believe 1000.00 Dollars which isn't cashed as long as you go to their gym (any one of their gym's) 6 days every week until you got down to you're perfect body weight. So that means that if you are only 30, or say even 50 lbs over weigh you only have to work out 6days a week every week (never missing a day) until you loose that amount of weight, but if you have say 100-150 lbs to loose well your looking forward to many long days and week's or even year's of 6days every week. And they won't take any excuses for missing a day. So if you miss ONE DAY for any reason they cash your check. Now we all don't have a grand lying around but think of all the charges you can a crew. Plus I'm sure they have Way's to get you on that check because you have to sign a very convoluted contract. So in closing I say to all of...
