I met the owner (Barry) at my shop in Beverly Hills a while back and he was very welcoming and kind. We spoke for a while and he told me he opened the first legal dispo in my home town and that I should check it out. I did so, in fact, I even had an 1 on 1 with the sales manger at the time (Omar) and was pleased with my services. Anytime I came back to this city I preferred to shop here, until today. I was denied entry because I refused to give my number for the “loyalty program” which makes 0 sense. I’ve been in the industry for several years as well as a sales manager at my own store, and I can say with certainty the only thing required for entry, as someone 21+, is a valid form of identification. The girl at the front had a “idc” attitude about it and was pretty adamant that I had to in order to enter, even tho as previously stated, ive shopped in this store multiple times and it’s never been an issue. I really hate to leave a bad review on a dispensary but after coming here 5 different times and being ripped off by “taxes and credit card machines” I’m over it and I would rather hit up SeshUp where I know my money is actually going towards what I picked out. Explain how me how an item that’s on sale is $20 and my edibles are $8 and somehow my total ends up being $41? The guy at the counter said he’d charge me $35 and give me $4 back (they always do this, just charge you more and say they’ll give you cash back, this doesn’t seem right at all) but then I notice he charged me $38 and I still got a $3 charge for using my card. I’ve tried paying with cash and they still ripped me off. I understand taxes but what are all the extra charges for?
