Taqueria El Mexicano is one of many taquerias hidden within shopping centers in this area in Maryland. I stopped in for a Saturday lunch. Here’s my experience: 1) Food: They have a full menu of tacos from pollo to carnitas and many other items like burritos. Even though Yelp directed me to the tacos, I ordered a carnitas burrito. I have no regrets. The burrito is stuffed with rice, buttery carnitas and veggies. It comes with a green salsa and a red salsa both with the right amount of kick. I added an orange can soda bringing my bill to $11. Not a bad deal at all! 2) Service: The staff are nice, but I did have to wait for 25 minutes for my burrito to go. There was a healthy flow of customers, but not that many to cause a delay. 3) Atmosphere: It’s what you want in an authentic taqueria- decorations on the wall that take you to Latin America and simple tables. If you love a good burrito, check out this spot!

I loved the food. So did my kids. We got trips tacos torta milanesa de pollo and tamales. It’s was most definitely delicious authentic Mexican food. I work at at a Mexican restaurant in New York my self and I have tried most of Mexican food. But this place it’s the GO To If u wan real Mexican food and hungry

I did not like the taste of my Torta, honestly I didn’t like how the lettuce I received was rotten and tasted like plastic! The meat inside was half raw and it tasted like it wasn’t even seasoned with any spice! The people working in there were being complicated because i tried to change my order because I didn’t order any beans and jalapeños on it and guess what! They had beans and jalapeños! I tried getting a different one and they kept telling me “There is no beans and jalapeños, I told the cook to not add any beans and jalapeños” this was the worst experience I’ve...

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD IVe been going here so ce elementary school with my parents now i come by myself but this place is s good the tacos here are different than any other tacos I've tasted and they are so good the sopes and guaraches are the best it has such good flavor the pupusas are the best and the give you salsa and repollo with it they have a bunch of drinks such as horchata, Jamaica and tamarindo and much more the prices are good and affordable I have some pictures they're not the best because i almost forgot to rate it but 100/100...
