This place blew my mind when I first moved to DC. Practically every aisle is a like walking into a different country, with an impressive assortment of products (who knew there were THAT many different kinds of soy sauce/fish sauce/spicy chili sauce/mochi/dried peppers, etc...?!?). We probably head here once a month or so to stock up on everything we need for cooking our way through various cookbooks (currently: Night+Market and Jerusalem). They've always got obscure spice, fruits and veggies you can't find anywhere else, and low prices to boot.
Just don't be in a hurry if you're headed here. There are usually only a few checkout lanes open and they move slowly... And realize you'll likely be on your own while shopping. I'm never able to find anyone to help me if I have a question or am looking for something specific, but the flip side of that is it's led to some superb wandering of the store, and finding sauce and things to try that I didn't even know I needed to that...

The produce is a good price and they have a lot of things most grocery stores don't carry. Tons of different chilies, fruits, vegetables, and tofus. They have a great amount of spices. They have great selection when they don't cheat you but if they sell you bad fish you only have one day to make the return which in my opinion is an outright scam because who goes back to a grocery store within 24 hours of the last time they shopped.
