My experience was horrible. After purchasing well over $380 worth of clothes and a few items, there was an item that was missing a tag, a pajama set for one of my girls. The young lady, the cashier, was attempting to search for the price for that item via her phone. She could not find that item, so I offer it to quickly run it back because I remember exactly where it was to grab another item with a tag. I was away from the register for only 10 to 15 seconds, to return and see that she was ringing up the guy behind me and already had two bags into my cart. This guy and the cashier didnât even have the decency to see that I was gone for 10 to 15 seconds, to come back with his items in my cart with my keys still on the cart, and I had to wait 2 to 3 minutes for them to finish that one transaction, because they werenât finished. The fact that it took her 2 to 3 minutes to finally pause his transaction to realize that my body language was exuding frustration and I was about to cancel my $380 transaction, and go to another target, was absurd. I could not believe, that he had the audacity to put his two target bag items into my cart, while my keys were still in a cart, and I was only gone for 10 to 15 seconds. This young lady, needs serious empathy and customer experience training. She didnât even know how to make eye contact with customers properly, and the fact that she did not realize my frustration prior to, and had me wait 2 to 3 minutes when I was only gone for 10 to 15 seconds, was extremely unprofessional. And I have too had a job where I was a cashier and multitasking, so I clearly understand how to read body language, and how to empathize with customers. She couldâve easily told that guy, because he was not a gentleman at all, that sir weâre going to wait just a few more seconds because she was only gone for 8 seconds until she returns. Because of this experience, I may never return to this target to give them...
Read moreToday I went for household needs & had the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. Iâm disabled & have to use a scooter to get around. There was so many pallets & carts of stuff blocking the aisles it was horrible. This store is definitely not already set up for the disabled as it is but with an explosion of stuff everywhere I found myself in situations that were very dangerous. When I approached any employee that wasnât just standing around or had iPod ear plugs in they were so rude no matter how many excuse me I would say they ignored me. The only gentleman that helped me what so ever was in the frozen section with glasses so eager & nice to help me. I told him thank you for being so kind & both wished each other to have a good day. Thatâs the customer service I always treated my customers with as your staff should as well. Kindness goes a lot further then being rude even managers as well. Checking out was worse when in line then the cashier literally screamed at me said Iâm closed canât u see?? I told her I didnât know there are customers in your line she responded well Iâm not so go over there. I was very hurt that anyone could be like this at their job to anyone & a more professional way to do it then the way the cashier at #4 was to me. I shop here cause I have had this experience at Walmart never expected Target to be the same. More self checkouts then checkout lines are usually why I pay more to come here not go through the same at your store. One door in & out of your establishment with renovations not letting your customers know didnât help. Letâs all stop treating customers & disabled people like they are a burden but the reason you are here in the first place. I hope the managers at this store either try to fix this or find capable people who do. Thank you for your time to listen & hope to have a better...

This Target location (Lanham) has been a fav venue for for me for a number of years. Sadly, lately with the employee turnovers, the customer service desk has 'gone to hell in a basket'!!! đ¤Žđđž
âď¸ This morning, while picking up my online order, I had to deal with this young 'think-she-cute' African American female associate (also last week, toođđ¤Ž).
I asked her a question re being refunded for the paper bags bc I ALWAYS bring my own bags - she cut me off. I asked her to not interrupt me and informed her that I am deaf... she simply shrugged her shoulders as if to say 'not my problem' and she walked off. I yelled at her and told her to call the manager.
I explained to the manager that the associate is terribly lacking in quality customer service, and her attitude needed to be checked and seriously addressed, to better serve the customers.
The manager listened to the concern I had and she proceeded to explain the the reason for the issue. Though I truly hope she speaks to the associate and also 'WRITE HER UP' for the poorly unprofessional conduct she displayed.
I truly miss some of the former associates who used to work at the customer service desk. They were wonderful!!! Truly beautiful people! All the best to them wherever they are now!! â¤ď¸đ
âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ For other services at this location (Starbucks, cashiers, floor associates, etc.), I will give 5 stars+!!! They have been absolutely wonderful, very friendly and outstanding when interacting with the customers! Keep up the good work!! đđžđđžđâ¤ď¸
