By far the worse customer service experience I’ve ever had. I should have known from when I called it was going to be a horrible experience. The young lady who answered the phone was horrible she answered the phone with an attitude and hastily told me to hold on. While on hold as I assume she put the phone down I can hear her talking to other customers. She never returned from putting me on hold by even saying “thanks for holding” for me to know that she was now talking to me. After a few seconds of hearing “what do you want to order” she got frustrated. After hearing the same question repeated three times I finally said “are you talking to me now” then she said yes. I ordered a steak and cheese on chibatta roll, French fries and a small cheese pizza. I was told the wait time will be 30 minutes. I went in and a pizza was on the counter I paid then she said she needs to go back for the rest of the food. I sat for about 15-20 minutes for the remainder of the order to be brought to me. To my surprise the pizza that sat on the counter was mines. I then told the cashier/server that I would not be satisfied with the pizza as it was now cold. I opened the box and touched the pizza and the pizza was cold. She offered to reheat the pizza I suggested getting a new pizza done as the crust would probably be hard and the quality of the pizza deteriorate after sitting for so long. She became irate she felt the bottom of the box and stated it’s not cold feel it I felt it and indeed it was not hot nor luke warm. She was not happy with me and the attitude was turned on max. I then asked to talk to the manager and she responded she was the manager SHOCKING!!! she then began to ignore me and take care of another customer. I then requested a refund for the pizza. That didn’t go well either. Fast forward to ten minutes later when I went to the car the steak and cheese was not served on the chibatta roll as requested and the fries appeared as if it was taken from the refrigerator and dipped in oil then placed in the box. The food was not edible! I wouldnt even feel comfortable giving it to an animal. After receiving such horrible service I didn’t even feel comfortable going back in to voice my concern the bag was tossed right in the trash in front of the restaurant. I’m terribly upset that i wasted my money on food that could not be consumed. I came home and attempted to call 6 times and no one picked up. What kind of business is this? This is horrible!!! Read moreWe've been ordering to go 4+ times a month from this location since it opened even though it is farther away than TJ Elliotts. We felt this location produced a better tasting pizza. The old manager was very nice and would fix problems if and when they occurred over the 3+ years we frequented the place. She and the staff were always friendly, smiling and would call me by name.
The new manager, Samantha, has no customer service skills. She doesn't catch problems such as no crust under the pizza before handing it to you. She doesn't return phone messages left for her. I waited a week. She doesn't call you back when she personally tells you she will call you back. When showing her pictures of pizza problems, she does nothing. She states that I should have brought the problem pizza back for it to be corrected and she will not do anything after the fact. Even if you called after getting home and advising them of the problem and taking pictures as was recommended by her staff. Obviously she doesn't support her staff. FYI, her staff told me over the phone they were having pizza problems that day. And Samantha is the one sold me the problem pizza with no crust. She should have noticed it as she is the so called professional pizza manager.
Who has the time to return problem food when a hungry family waits? Who wants to go back out in the cold to remedy something that shouldn't have taken place? Samantha should have caught the problem by inspecting the pizza before handing it to me. Samantha offered absolutely nothing for our bad pizza experience. Not even an apology.
My recommendation is to avoid this location until Samantha is either fired or quits. If Bowie is inconvenient and you have no choice, go to Rob's other location in Seabrook. It is about 5 minutes way and the manager is nice. As far as I am concerned, Rob won't be getting any more of money until Samantha is gone. I'll be ordering from TJ Elliotts from now on. Read moreThis location has lost customers for LIFE due to the unprofessional ism of it's Manager/Owner. I went to this location on Wednesday, May 27th at approximately 7:30pm. I ordered a large Ledo's Deluxe pizza and then proceeded to show the cashier their company issued coupon for a free fountain soda. Well, the manager/owner spoke very rudely and loudly accompanied with neck rolling, told me that "I don't accept coupons". I then told her that is was company issued. She got louder and stated that she "doesn't care, I told the company to remove me from their listing of coupons" and then she stormed off. The cashier was puzzled, as was I, regarding her behavior. The only redeeming factor was that the cashier apologized for her manager/owner's poor behavior. I paid for my order...20 minutes later when my order was ready. I received immediate attention from the cashiers who then apologized again for their manager/owner's behavior. I asked them if I could speak with their manager. Her employees stated, "hopefully she'll speak with you". They obliged, however, the manager/owner sought refuge in the restroom when she saw that I was waiting for her. I then proceeded to wait for her to resolve this issue for 20 minutes. She finally emerged after quickly escaping the bathroom to the refuge of the kitchen after she saw I was still there. I let the cashier know that she emerged from the bathroom and would love to resolve this quietly and quickly. The cashier went back to let the manager/owner know that I wanted to speak with her again...she sent the cashier back stating that she was too busy to speak with me. At this point, I was truly exhausted from the lack of customer service and lack of professionalism. There was a lot of lesson learned and taught that evening.
