When I first received my order, I was so disappointed because the colors weren't as pretty as the picture and the fabric appeared thin enough to see through to the next layer. BUT when I actually opened the plastic sleeve the fabric was in, I realized I had been looking at the wrong side of the fabric; and the right side was just as bright and lovely as the picture; and what I thought was the next layer of fabric showing through was just what the back side of the fabric looked like. The fabric itself is a lovely weight and NOT see through at all. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my order of 3 yards was one continuous piece, rather than the 3 separate pieces I had anticipated. Can't wait to get started on my project. Love love loveeeeeeee Sew Creative Lounge! I have a sewing studio right next door to where I live but Sew Creative Lounge oozes F.U.B.U. From the fabrics to the music to the general vibes. Its a beautiful and welcoming space for all but as a Black woman being surrounded the beauty and magic that is US my heart soars every time I enter the studio. I started with the beginner class and from our first class I knew I was continuing. I signed up for Level 2 by my second class. I am overjoyed I found the Sew Creative community.
