A State of Michigan Retirement Benefits meeting is scheduled today. When I arrived was told room is at capacity, fire marshal won't allow anymore in the room. The hallway was full of retirees trying to get to this meeting. Some drove from out of town and was turned away. Poor planning on the state. When you say RSVP and then say you don't have to RSVP to attend this brings issues. There were retired workers that had RSVP that were not able to get in.
