If you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine in the Lansing area , look no further than The Eloasis Food Truck on Michigan ave. The pork and chicken tacos are true stars on the menu. Prepared with love and care, these tacos are bursting with flavor. The pork tacos boast tender, succulent meat that is seasoned to perfection. The balance of spices and the juiciness of the meat create a taste sensation that lingers on your palate. Each bite is a delightful combination of savory and slightly smoky notes, further enhanced by the accompaniments.

The chicken tacos are equally impressive. The chicken is cooked to juicy perfection. The flavors are well-balanced, allowing the natural taste of the chicken to shine through. The tacos are further elevated by the addition of fresh toppings, such as cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime, which add a refreshing and zesty element to each bite.

One aspect that makes The Eloasis Food Truck stand out is its dedication to using authentic ingredients and cooking techniques. The flavors and textures are reminiscent of traditional Mexican street food, bringing an authentic experience to every dish.

Received a response and apology from El Oasis, stating it was the Delivery Company's fault and that the would be reaching out to us to make things right. However, they never did. See original review below:

We ordered delivery on Cinco de Mayo at 7pm. We were told delivery would be at 9:14pm. Okay, we can deal...it is Cinco de Mayo and during Covid19. So, we waited and at 9:20, I looked at my email...turns out that, at 8:10pm I had received another email saying that El Oasis had decided to close their doors early and we weren't getting any dinner. Oh, it happens to be my son's birthday. How can they decide to close their doors with an order already placed...absolutely unconscionable! El Oasis must be doing very well indeed! Simply cannot believe we were pimped like that. I honestly hope this food truck fails miserably. I guess we will try to order pizza. Happy Birthday to my son and Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Absolutely horrific treatment!

I appreciate the apology...for what it is worth, the delivery company never compensated us or contacted us in any way. Maybe a review on them is...

This might be the best taqueria in the great state of Michigan. There is a similar taqueria up in Traverse City called El Osorio that is comparable, and maybe one in Detroit and Grand Rapids that would receive honorable mentions, but those are the closest I've found (I can't attest to U.P. outside Marquette and Sault). However in the past few decades I have visited countless taquerias and full "sit-down" Mexican places in seemingly every corner of the mitten -- this little semi-permanent food truck would surpass virtually all of them. I've been stopping here for ten years now. The value and quality are unwavering and tremendous. I've not found much like it since I spent a few months in Mexico five years back. El Oasis is a gem. My go-to's are their chicken burrito or torta milanesa, always with a side of creamy green picante sauce + Mexican bottled coke, but there is something here for everyone. If you seek authentic, full-flavor Mexican food and are near or even just passing through the capital...

This review is based on delivery experiences. We love the food from here! But have never gotten exactly what we ordered when choosing delivery. We are always missing items or get the right item with the wrong meat etc. This last time we ordered 2 tostadas that showed up like the pic shows - just a shell and meat. No topping at all. Ordered a chicken taco. Got a ground beef one. Shredded beef tostada and got a ground beef one. They do fill their burritos with a lot of rice, a little more meat would be nice. The refried beans had poured out of the container and all over the bag. Other times we received no salsa at all. My recommendation would be to skip delivery as it doesn’t appear orders are double checked. We haven’t had issues when ordering at the truck. Great food!

I used to get tacos here all the time and they were good. I haven't been in a few years. Today's meal was like a kids meal with mini street tacos. It was supposed to be Bria. The meat is just dried up shredded roast with absolutely no seasoning, they put so much cheese on it that taste like mozzarella. I can't even taste the taco. And they weren't any bigger than my pinky. Then it comes with two tablespoons of rice and two tablespoons of beans. It look like a kids meal. For $13.99 I will find somewhere else that serves full size tacos. That knows how to actually cook the meat.

I've gotten El Oasis 20+ times, and it's consistently excellent. Whenever I want fast Mexican food, I go there instead of Taco Bell, and it's always so much better and a better value. El Oasis especially needs our support now with the construction on Michigan. You can get there by taking a right on Francis off Saginaw. Today, I got the asada big burrito. It hit the spot. Plenty of fresh ingredients evenly disbursed. I also love their breakfast burrito, tortas, and sopas. The food is always ready in 10 to 15 minutes. Get some!
