Emily was such a pleasure to work with throughout the process of finding the perfect engagement rings. My fiancé and I do things a bit untraditionally, we wanted to buy rings for each other in unison, and Emily was enthused to help us both find the vintage rings that matched our love connection and souls. Emily was thorough in showing us rings that fit our aesthetic preferences, helped us with sizing, and even offered advice on how to keep these precious symbols of love in good condition (fine jewelry is a world new to both of us). What struck me the most was how caring and open she was -- never pushing, always listening, and even offering other places to look in case our perfect matches weren't at her shop. But the perfect rings were right there, as if it was fated, with a kind voice to guide us along the way. The most thoughtful and kind part of the experience was the day we received our resized rings; Emily bid us farewell with a joyful "go be in love in the world, we need more of that". Jean Jean Vintage is itself a little jewel box in REO town and her thoughtful and interesting estate finds are available alongside her originally designed, poetic jewelry. The owner, Emily, is an incredibly talented, creative force with a deep knowledge and respect for the stories and histories embedded in the jewelry she collects and designs. She’s also such a conscientious member of the community, and an all around force for good.
