Reo Town Pub — Restaurant in Lansing

They frequently have cool events going on--food and beer pairings, bingo, steak night, etc. Drinks are cheap and strong. My husband and I (and our friends) frequent this bar, especially during the summer. The patio is BEAUTIFUL, with flowers surrounding the canopy. The concrete outside the entrance is painted with a beautiful little mural. Service is always fast, no matter what the crowd looks like. I've always had a great experience here with servers AND patrons. My husband especially loves this place, because the bartenders know him by name and his favorite drink (which he calls the Nutty Russian). Come on out--we'll see...

What a great little spot. Small and atmospheric, very cozy. Andrea our bartender.. bar-ista? Cocktail Curator? Was lovely. Very personable and made us feel like regulars. No kitchen here so, we ordered food from across the street and ate at the pub with our drinks. We even made flash random friends with two friend patrons. First time in the pub and Mary and Marcus treated me like a regular! When they found out it was my 1st time in Lansing they provided me with many insights into the city and even mapped out an itinerary for me. The beer and bourbon selections are great, the food from the BBQ place next door was excellent (they even brought it to me in the bar when it was ready!), and the conversation was the best part of my visit.
