REO Town Marketplace — Local services in Lansing

This place has to be experienced. The reotown marketplace is home to several local shops all of which are run by amazing people who really seem to have a passion for what they are doing and all are very welcoming.

The shops there include a vintage and used music shop, with a pretty good selection of both players and music

A book store that has signed copies from some of today's most popular writers (Neil Gaiman)

A shop of what I can only call curious oddities. (This shop might seem a little creepy or odd, but don't be so basic; go inside. The people that run it are quite nice)

There is also a shop that sells local made clothing and art, and another shop that is specifically an art gallery. Both of these have a variety of things too long to list.

The shops are really cute! The bookstore was my favorite store, but sadly the person running it was kinda mean/rude. My gf picked up a book, which caused two to fall. She immediately apologized and the lady came over because she wanted to make sure my gf didn’t “f anything up” (She said the actual curse word). If you walk inside you will see how easy it is for something to fall based on how the shelves are set up. It’s really pretty to look at, but it’s also easy to mess something up. The record store had a bunch of new and older records. The selection is really good if you are looking for something in particular. They also had cute art and soap shops on the other side. I definitely would say check it out! I got nice incense from one of the stores and can’t wait to go back for...
