TLDR: The owner has ZERO customer service skills. The food is not great. Do NOT recommend.

This place is horrible & the owner is incredibly unprofessional. First of all, he couldn’t understand the basic English I was speaking. I understand the importance of speaking Spanish in Laredo, but as a business owner, you should be able to speak English too. I went out my way to Cindy’s to try the “burritos with sauce” on their menu. It was a tough day & I really wanted this comfort food. I squeezed this in before attending a rosary. I was so upset when I got home & I opened my plate to dry disgusting gas station burritos. No cheese sauce. My friend ordered a double cheeseburger & he got only one patty. This was my first meal of the day at 4 pm. The drive to and from Cindy’s was 40 minutes round trip. Of course, I decided to eat the dry burritos as I was again, starving and had driven 40 minutes to eat. I didn’t want to call on an empty stomach & be hangry with them. I called and spoke to the owner and explained that my friend and didn’t get what we ordered. This man refused to offer any sort of solution. He insisted I drive out of my way to drop off the food for a refund. I explained it was out of my way & I was trying to make it to this rosary. I was literally having to call on the drive to the funeral home. He didn’t care. He put me on hold for 10 minutes. I could hear him arguing in the background with the cashier regarding the order. I had to hangup and call back because he never came back to the phone. When I called back he asked me if I wanted to complain directly to the chef, as if that is my job to discipline his employees! He refused to take ownership of the situation. I would have even accepted a remake of the meal on another day but he refused that as well. Sad to see such a lack of customer service from someone, according to his words, has been a successful business owner for 40 years. 40 years of owning a business has obviously not showed this...

My wife and I just Visited this place it was a Horrible Experience! After not being in laredo for Around 2 years we come back to visit . we decided to have lunch here at Cindys. Well now they have a 10lb cheese burger we didn't even notice we had Ordered we thought was a regular Cheese Burger. We wait about 30mins for our food the Cook in the back was Eating and cooking with no Gloves. So we get this cheeseburger we couldn't even Eat we ended up throwing it all away. “Vamos a Cindy’s!” My family has been going to Cindy’s for years. They have the most juicy delicious hamburgers! The staff is friendly in person and over the phone when phoning in pick up orders. Their location is small but homey and clean.

12/28/23 - went to Cindy’s and picked up some hamburger plates. Lovely lady behind the counter, very friendly and took my order with a smile.
