Milagros — Local services in Laredo

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience in Milagros, the gorgeous, traditional religious goods, and of course, the warm welcome of Ms. Angelica (the store owner). I am irrevocably biased of this store, for its entirety reminds me of the mercados (Mexican Merchant Stores) located here, in Laredo and in the heart of San Antonio, in which my father and I frequently dropped off boxes to filled with bottles of vanilla extract (for baking).

Angelica is so sweet!! She hand paints a number of the items herself. Her goods are sourced from several countries including México y Guatemala. She has sooooooo many lovely handmade items, from embroidered clothing and beaded jewelry to containers for holy water and even beautiful tiles and handmade linens for your house. She also has a selection of lovely crystals in her shop. I loved all of it!! Will definitely be visiting...

The owner is friendly and helpful. Because she hand picks the items in her shop she can tell you from where they originate. She paints a lot of the items, to enhance them or per a customer's liking.
