The Charleston Antique Mall is absolutely amazing. First off, itās hugeāso big that you could get lost just looking through their inventory for hours. Second, I love the layout where thereās tons of different vendors all with unique collections of items to offer. It makes the walkthrough all the more interesting. Third, the inventory itself is incredibly unique, and thereās so many items there that are just artifacts of history. It really is amazing. However, my personal favorite part is the vintage photo booth, located on the very right side of the store by the dressing rooms. I believe the photos are actually film photos that instantly (it takes a few mins) develop once the booth snaps your four photos. Me and my fiancé walked around the store and were absolutely flabbergasted at how much some of the little trinkets and knick knacks were going for. Most of which are things that are, do not get me wrong, extremely cute/beautiful but are not at all worth the prices they have them marked at. Most of these items are such that you literally find at the thrift stores down the street. A lot of items are even worn down to the point of destruction, to which I say old doesn't mean antique. Which most people looking for a genuine liquidation deal are, here's a suggestion for those thinking of opening similar businesses; consider your customers educated on the true market value of wholesale and liquidation items. Maybe research other sales platforms before pricing items. Some things I looked st are over retail and most more like 30% off when they should be marked around the 75% off mark. Especially when the items are damaged and almost all missing something. I cannot imagine this new entity in business...
