My son and I have been coming here for the past 6 years, each time we load $60 on to the play card. That transfers into 6000 credits and spending this amount it gives an additional 700 bonus credits. We almost always end up adding additional money to the card, because we really enjoy a couple of the games. One of the games we enjoy is notorious for giving an error code during gameplay, and as it's annoying sometimes, every time this happens the staff has been more than happy to come reset machine which resumes the gameplay at the exact place it stopped.. None if this affects the Awesome time my son and I have had here. THAT being said... we went there this last Sunday, loaded our money, and swiped our play card, the machine my son was on worked just fine, I then swiped on mine, and it took 400 credits like normal, and I did it 1 more time to increase to 800 credits, and the error message appeared. I went to the desk and waited patiently for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, which is completely fine because I know they are taking care of children as well. When girl came over to help, she seemed overly annoyed that I needed help. I explained exactly what had happened, and she rolled her eyes at me and told me it's impossible for the machine to take credits from the card when there's an error.. Makes sense, but the error didn't pop up until the 2nd swipe, holding the first and now the second deposit hostage. This girl stood there for the next 5 minutes telling me the same thing until she asked for the card to see if i had added any credits to the game. She see that I have and tells me that i had to have played these credits, and they don't refund credits that have already been played. By this point I'm starting to get annoyed, mind you I'm here to spend time with my son, and after paying all that money I'm just standing here trying to get help. I'm completely frustrated with her telling me she won't be giving me back the credits the machine stole from me that I ask for the manager. The manager comes over and they immediately turn there backs to me, but I can hear the girl tell her manager that I'm stupid, and trying to get free games. The manager rudely turns around and says sir, I'll credit you back 400 credits, and I shouldn't even do that.. by this point I'm over it, and I just want to spend time with my kid, so I go back to the arcade. Then after playing a few more games another error message came up.. I see there's a completely different girl at the counter, and as I walk up the first girl sees me and walks up to the other and says ugh.. this guy is only trying to get free money I can't even deal with his crap.. Seriously wtf.. I've now been here for 45 min, and spent 35 of those arguing about only getting what I PAID for. The new girl seemed nice and helpful, but after hearing that crap, I just said screw the $10 bucks and we left. I'm So glad that all the station casinos have kids quest cause I still have $30 on the play card, and we will Never go back to that location ever again. Kinda funny how this girl ruined 6 years of great service,...
Read moreThis was our first time using Kids Quest. My sticker said that check out time was 11:05pm. I got there at 11:04. There was a guy in front of me picking up his kids. Because of this I was charged a $25 late fee. The employee that explained this to me was very rude, but with a smile on her face. Her name is Sonia. I told her she didn't need to be so snotty, that this was out first time, we were not told about a late charge when we dropped off our son, and that we had a reason to be upset. She on the other hand didn't have a reason to be. We were only told that if we were late picking our son up we would be charged in increments of 15 minutes. When I asked for the mangers card, Sonia stared at me (with a smile on her face), and said no problem. I expected her to get the me the card but she just stood there starring at my husband and I. I then said can you get the card? She said I sure can. Sonia turned around and slammed the gate behind her. She was very unprofessional and just flat out rude. I understand we all have bad days however, she had zero sympathy for our situation. Sonia explained that even though you're here in line at your check out time, if your kid is still in the back in their care that you will still be charged for that time, and that is why we tell the parents to come a little early. I was not told this. Had I known this, of course I would of came a little earlier. My husband and I were only at the bowling ally. If I didn't care about paying the $25 late fee, I wouldn't of been there on time, I wouldn't of showed up a minute early to pick him up. My son seemed to have been well taken care of, and I'm apprecitiave of that. I will be calling the manager to speak with her about this. I do know this is my fault for not coming early, and I'm not trying to put the blame on anyone else. I just want people to know about my expierence here, and hopefully whoever takes the time to read this will learn from my mistake, and also to avoid Sonia. Someone who works with children should be nice, and not so rude. And just to be clear. I didn't once raise my voice, curse at her or anyone else, nor was I rude to her. It was shocking that she could be so cold about it. It felt like she was enjoyed charging us the late fee. Almost like she was on a power trip. But she only embarrassed herself, and came off as an immature brat rather than a professional adult who understood where I was coming from. I really my husband and I were not treated like this. Our very good friends, who also had there kids there absolutely love this place and were so excited for us to try it out. They are extremely disappointed with Sonia as well, and couldn't believe she treated...
Read moreMy kids do not want to return here for several reasons. I filled out the survey that I was sent to my email from quest and there was not an option to write my concerns . So I suggest you add that to your survey. Only a bunch of star ratings on different areas. My children range from 2-11
Most importantly safety - my child explained to me there was a broken pathway at the top of the playground where kids walk through to get to another side of the playground. (V shape pathway) The way I understand it is the straps holding that in place were completely broke. All the kids were running through there and jumping so it's just a matter of time for that thing to snap off.
Cleanliness also can be a safety issue: Liquid on the floor that looked like vomit. When my child made one of the workers aware , she kept walking and just said "eh". I mean yes kids play places are full of icky germs etc but this come on!
The computers located in the game room do not work. Out of the 4 present only 1 works.
No phones allowed đ€ Even school allows a phone to be in contact with parents for any emergency. That was a concern of mine since I wasn't sure how my kids will be doing or if they wanted to leave . You can always keep coming back here and checking on them I assume.
This 5th complain has nothing to do with the facility - that night at least , kids were really rude and disrespectful - my child told me one of the kids threw food to one of the workers đ€Šđ»ââïž Parents are doing a terrible job raising there kids no brainer there but I will suggest to the facility when something like this happens to call the parent to pick up there child. How is this acceptable?
I preregistered at home. When I arrived there the person was very quick to help and there was not really a line.
*for kids quest- I see you want everyone to reach to the 1800 # - I will let you know before you go reply to my review- I will not reach out to that # . I suggest you review the above concerns and address them in this location. If you have further questions for me then please state that in your reply and I will call...
