This was the worst experience I have ever had at any place of business! Customer does not matter hereāat least that is how I felt. Never have I felt such disregard for issues that Iāve had. Iām trying to adjust to my eyes changing due to age and they told me I had to accept what they were offering me, even though my optometrist at LensCrafters and Samās Club always worked with me to give me what I know works best for me. I usually have 3.25 in left eye and 2.50 in rt eye. Optometrist wanted to prescribe 3.25 in left and 3.50 in right. I wouldnāt be able to see anything close up. āYou are going to have to use reading glassesā was the only solution. I donāt want to use reading glasses when I see just fine up close when my prescription is not so high. My concerns were turned around like I was arguing, and the āoffice managerā came in to handle the situation like I was this problem patient. I was trying to be calm and get what I wanted while being treated like I was insignificant and troublesome. It was crazy! Finally a compromise was made of 2.75 rt eye and 3.00 lft eye, but unfortunately, it left such a bad impression on me, I never went back or got my prescription filled for my contacts. I went in today to get a copy of my prescription, because I desperately need contacts, and asked if I could buy just one box of contacts for one eye, but because I have a different prescription for both eyes, they told me I had to order both eyes, which is $60 X 2, totaling $120. I had money for just 1 box. I was denied. I asked for a sample pair of contacts, which they receive for free, but I was denied a free pair and was told by the āoffice managerā it would cost $30 for the pair because I wasnāt ordering contacts. I said, but youāre not letting me order what I want and you get the samples for free, and he said, yes, but he has to keep stock up. ?? He said he was the office manager and if he could help me, he would. Was there ever an attempt to help me? At this point, the aggravation of having both experiences go so badly, and my needs not met, nor any concern given, I left angry and upset, with a VERY bad taste in my mouth for VisionWorks at Meadows Mall. I havenāt ever written a bad review. I wanted to the last time I visited there, but didnāt because I know how harmful bad reviews can be, but this needs to be addressed. There has to be some accountability for such bad and uncaring service, and hopefully it will be a call for humanity to return to our places...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was by far the worst optometrist office I have ever been to. This is related to the optometrist and not the portion of the office that actually sells the frames.
The optometrist was rushing through the eye exam. While reading letters to tell him what was blurry and what was clear, he said he had the right prescription. I advised him that where he stopped was still to blurry. He said that was fine and since I am a diabetic (controlled by the way) that was the best that could be done.
I know this to be factually incorrect as I have been to other offices and have never had this issue. But instead of arguing I said fine.
I got my glasses almost two weeks later and just as I tried to tell them, the script was way off.
The office refused to do another eye exam unless I kept those glasses for an additional week to "let my eyes adjust". I told them that I did not have the luxury of wearing glasses that are that blurred since I am in school.
They stated (the woman at the front desk) that this was their "policy" and that was the end. I gave them back their glasses and had them reverse the claim to my vision insurance company.
Then I reported this to my insurance company and was given the ok to go somewhere else to do another exam.
And guess what? I had my other appointment today and voila. I was able to get the right script without any issues.
I would just be cautious for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first time I came here a year ago my experience was wonderful. Coming back this time my experience was HORRIBLE. My appointment felt very driver thru experience. Get me out as quick as they could. Then I got called to come back to try contact brands. The person on the phone told me they didnāt make appointment for the weekend. Yet when i came to the weekend appointment everyone checking in was asked if they had an appointment and everyone said yes. Since they told me they didnāt take appointments on the weekend i showed up early and WAITED FOREVER to see the doctor. Which I never did. Fast forward to an hour later, no one saw me and when I asked them about it they said I was next. But when they tried to take me in they told me there were no rooms open. At this point I was over waiting. I left. To which after several minutes they called me and I told them I wouldnāt be back. And they made me come back and return the contacts I was trying.
I will NEVER COME BACK NOR WILL I REFER ANYONE TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
Update: Donāt waste your time trying to talk to any one in the office or emailing the customer service email I got in the āresponse by owner.ā Not Visionworks or the office has tried to help. I have paid for a prescription that is of no use to me. Donāt waste your time or money here. Go...
