I camped here last night in the back country. You definitely need a high clearance 4wd vehicle to access the farther reaches of the park but it was awesome. 77 during the day and 59 at night. We had an awesome campsite and the silence was golden. 45 minutes from Vegas and 40...

A perfect place to go to get away from Vegas heat. In about an hour you can be in the cool beautiful mountains with challenging hikes to waterfalls (in the spring) great "ooh ahh" views and two nice hotels to eat...

Beautiful place but the staff is super rude. They kicked us out from the park 30 min before actually closes and Taylor fisher was screaming at us and was extremely unprofessional. Waste of money...
