Katsu Curry wasn’t Japanese like expected. It was more Indian style. Curry was a gross looking paste rivaling pesto in texture, good curry is more liquid. The chicken was… odd. Chewy, but not dry at least. No crisp, soggy. Breading fell off easily. Drinks come from syrup or something, tastes weird and crude. Clearly just syrup and milk. No. 1 Boba and Boba Haus is really good, better alternative. Also thai tea doesn’t have boba but description doesn’t tell you that. Karaage is is bad. No crispness, soggy and weird. and the sauce is odd. Borderline cheese whizz. Once you’ve had really good crispy crackly karaage w lemon sauce it’s impossible to go back. Rangoons we’re ok. I do feel they shouldn’t be allowed to be called crab rangoons as theres as much crab as Lacroix is fruit flavored. Ramen was… weird… broth felt bullioned and boring but also too intense to savor, felt like I was fishing for tofu and the pork was just 90% fat globs. Sliced paper thin. ever been to a good ramen shop? One that’s dedicated to just ramen? They blow the socks off this meh soup and block of ramen noodle brick I got. And the egg was so sad lookin. Gyoza was ok. Crunchy type which is good but it was also half n half and felt plain to taste. It’s not meant to be insulting, but the food was just…. Gas station quality. Defenitly coming back here! Not only was the seafood boil great but the Ramen looked amazing! Didn't have any this time but will be back to try it out as well as the fried rice! Yall gotta try this place out! You won't regret it! * Ok so update, this place was great the last time we came here, and this time, WAS EVEN BETTER! Don't sleep on this place yall! We had just about everything this time, had half a lb. Of shrimp, two Ramen bowls(and mine was better than my wifes) and we had the house fried rice!!!! And all 3 items were better than anywhere combined, which this place did combine! Although this is only my second Ramen place to eat, it was still very delicious. I promise you, you don't need to go to China town for this stuff if you live in the area, hands down beats most places on spring mountain. I would never order the Japanese curry for delivery from this place again. Idk if it was just the delivery or what, but I don't think this place knows what Japanese curry is. To start, I ordered their pork katsu curry and their chicken katsu curry. The pork katsu looked like it came with sauce drizzled over it, but it did not. I ordered veggie and potato add ons for both. As expected with delivery, the curry came in its own container but to my surprise there were no veggies in the sauce. I did check the styrofoam container and found only spinach, bean sprouts, tofu, mushroom, and half of a baked potato. Most of these veggies I listed are not standard for what I've had in curry from other places and no where near what I've prepared at home myself. My rice was dry and slightly yellowed and to say I'm disappointed is putting it incredibly lightly. I don't think I'll be ordering anything...
