My favorite place to shop for casual and professional clothing! Can’t beat all the items being 5 bucks with the added get one item free with buying four items! I always feel special shopping here, from the bright space with such thoughtfulness and effort to maintain it to the helpful volunteers. Also the people you meet here while shopping, makes the experience worthwhile. I go every other week or once a month and I always find something! I tell people at work, strangers and friends to go here. So far everyone that has went enjoyed it! Here’s some items I picked up! 90% of my closet is from here. :)

Charity's closet wasn't easy to find with maps. It's located near the bridal shop, where it says new weave building. There's also two parts to the store, which I wasn't aware of since it was my first time in there today. The second part is near the candle shop. The flyer they have says everything is $5 which is false advertisement because what's marked on the price tag is the cost. The coat I was interested in was $60. I ended up purchasing one pair of pants for $15. I also didn't see a fitting room.

This is an amazing boutique for a thrift store. I found two new dresses with tags on and a pair of shoes. They have a luxury brand store and in another area the everything for $5 store. I definitely recommend this place if you like thrift shopping. :)

I used to love Charity's Closet and First Picks and I hate to rate the stores so low as I think the work they do and the traffic they bring to Savage Mill is wonderful. However, the quality of merchandise has gone way down and the pricing has gone way up. I went to both stores yesterday. Charity's Closet was filled with Lularoe (and other poor quality items that are way out of style) and I encountered many items that were stained, and one that had moth holes. The way items are being tagged often leaves holes by the neckline, which to me defeats the purpose of extending their lives. Some of the items seemed more appropriate for textile recycling than for sale and I left with nothing. The prices at First Picks were inconsistent but overall shocking. A used plain Boden t-shirt was $30, and a Lilly Pulitzer t-shirt that had multiple holes from how it had been tagged was $20. I did oddly find a pair of Tory Burch sandals and Naot sandals for $10 each that just needed to be cleaned up a bit. I know for a while there was an issue with a shortage of volunteers and donations were paused for a while recently but I would love to see better items at...

Pretty good for men. Unfortunately, selection is not as useful for most men in Spring and Summer, unless they are retired. They get rid of many pants and long sleeve men's shirts and light jackets, and replace much of them with short sleeve button-downs (yikes, since sleeves of lightweight long sleeve shirts can be rolled up for better look and versatility, polos, and short). I personally wish the would retain a few racks of the stuff from fall and winter since men wear that stuff to work and still need...
