Read moreMy husband and I bought a box of goodies as a surprise for my MILâs birthday! I was in communication with the owner of Shugs who was just the sweetest, kindest and politest soul. We live in Florida and my MIL was taking a girls trip to Mississippi to celebrate her bday. Being that we are not from the area I wasnât sure what would be the best dessert option. After speaking to the owner she made me feel at peace with my decision. I knew with that kind of customer service the desserts would taste even better. They went over and beyond! They wrote exactly what I had asked on the box but did so in the prettiest font and wrapped it with green and pink string!! This was a surprise for my MIL but it surprised me just as much. I was so pleased with how it came out. My MIL said the peanut butter balls were the best ones she ever had but she loved them all! I am excited to take a trip to Mississippi and experience it all for myself. Thank you Shugâs for helping us celebrate mom in a...
Read moreWhile visiting Laurel today we had a wonderful lunch at Mimmoâs followed up by great tasting coffee at Leeâs and figured we would stop in here for some sweets hoping to continue the streak of good foodie items. The streak ended abruptly here. This place is listed as a candy and cookie dough shop but both items are very limited! Candy section is a joke. Dollar store has more items than this place and the menu lists off like 10 different cookie dough flavors but they only had 3 today available. We would have honestly walked out if the lady and her helper werenât staring at us. Out of pity I ordered a milkshake which took a long time to make and was mediocre and melted. My wife got a cookie from the case and a cake pop which both were thrown in the trash after one bite. I donât know if we hit this place on a bad day as we were the only people in there or this place was really that bad but today they got 15 dollars out of me and a terrible Google review which...
