I will never step foot in another Home Depot. When I tell you I have never experienced what I experienced at this Home Depot in ANY other retail store including Walmart and we all know how their customer service is. I do not recommend paying cash for anything in this store. I spent $4,200 in one transaction cash money at this location for a delivery of 3 appliances that they decided to call me when they were at my house no heads up or so called 30 minute notice just a phone call stating that noone was home and they can't wait more than 15 min and it had already been 12 lol they then proceeded to tell me to reschedule. I decided I would just cancel my order all together because of the inconvenience they put me in. So we then go to the store to get our refund to be told we couldn't get it because it had to be scanned back in to some warehouse and that it could take up to 10 days. So 10 days later we go back for our refund like we were told to, to then be told again they could not give us our money back, that anything over $1,000 has to be mailed by check which could take up to 14 days lmao đ¤Ł. I then call and speak to an assistant to find out why noone mentioned any of this when I was spending my money but now from Saturday July 6th to this moment July 20th still no money. I was then lied to and told it was gonna arrive Friday the 19th and still no check. Called same lady back for her to tell me there is nothing she can do and I'm pretty much SOL then just hing up on me sweet lady It's crazy Home Depot has enough money to pay so many employees to just stand around in groups and instigate customer issues instead of trying to help. That's customer service for you, but can't afford to pay someone their money back. All they can tell me is they are going to make sure something like this never happens again. Lmao đ 𤣠I Pray noone ever goes through this except the 3 who made this experience as horrible as they could, definitely need better training Mrs. JUANA Mrs. Haley Mrs Kim Webb Mr Jeffery Unfortunately their were the 3 others I didn't have the pleasure of getting their names but I'm sure you can see on camera Thanks for the learning...
Read moreOur home was demolished by Hurricane Helene. I have made so many trips to this store, spent thousands of dollars. We were told there was some sort of program to help hurricane survivors via a Home Depot program. The manager there acted like he was âon itâ always smiling and talking about his own problems while we were devastated, In tears practically every time we were In there. They never even offered a fricken coupon. Still, since it is the only hardware store within 40 miles we went and spent and spent. Because of the disaster and our heat was gone, our pipes and plumbing went out mid summer. I went in there and dropped nearly $500 on a water heater. When I finally got it out the box, I realized it was used. It had the info packet torn off, the thermostat plate was all bent-up, it had residual spray foam on top and there was dents all over it. I have a severe back problem, but managed to get the damn thing back in my truck and drive all the way over there and had to holler at the customer service people to help me get it back in the store. Yeah, they took it back ok, but the time and money I spent to get back there and all the numerous other items I have returned mainly from shoddy quality, you would think they would reimburse me. No! If Home Depotâs profits are up this last quarter and people are wondering why, it is because they made bank on Hurricane Helene and didnât offer a damn thing to their loyal customers and local community who went through it. Our house was probably the worst hit here in Northeast Georgia and I still canât get over that smug look on that Hartwellâs managers face when my wife came in there in tears trying to get some sort of help. At least the manager at Loweâs in Athens gave us a discount on a saws-all and a few other things when he saw photos of our demolished house in Bowman. I hope, I wish to God another big box hardware would open in Hartwell Georgia. Home Depot, you made bank off our tragedy, never again, you lost a customer, a Home Depot credit card customer, who has dropped thousands in your store over the...
Read moreI placed an online order for delivery. I live in Seneca, South Carolina, so I'm not sure why the order was sent to the Hartwell store, but it was. I was supposed to be contacted to schedule delivery within 48 hours, and several days later, I had heard nothing. I spoke to someone in customer service who told me my large order was waiting on one item to be in stock. I tried calling the Hartwell store twice to cancel the item so I could get the rest of my order asap. The phone rang 20+ times both times that I called. I resorted to chatting online. The chat rep was able to get in touch with someone to cancel the one item (two rolls of tape). I clarified multiple times that I was only cancelling the tape, not the whole order. I then received an email that the tape was cancelled (but nothing else). A few hours later, someone from the store called to schedule delivery. They told me it would be here Monday, August 31st. Monday came and went. No one came. No one called. Tuesday morning, I called the store and they told me that I had cancelled my whole order. I had not, and I had confirmed delivery AFTER I cancelled the one item. This was just the first part of what I was going to order as I'm redoing the flooring in my entire house, but it's safe to say it won't be with Home Depot after...
