Always disappointed with "customer service" with floor associates. Employees seem bitter about asking if help or assistance is needed (and I'm rarely asked when I do visit this particular store) and on this visit two employees were unable to verify current inventory on a handheld device and without saying it did not want to check if the item I needed was on one of the unopened pallets. Although, they did ask for my phone number and would call me with info when they got to opening the pallets (because they aren't labeled there is no way to know if/when i may get a call). Maybe they were having a bad morning, maybe they can't view inventory, maybe I was asking for too much, maybe i would get a call. For the past 6 months the experience at the Hartwell store has been frustrating and I only visit when the other surrounding TSC stores don't have what I'm looking for and that can be as far as 50 miles in any one direction so I can avoid this store. So they gave me the number and I called them . It was some lady in china’s, she couldn’t speak English . So I went back in there to tractor supply and let the lady listen , what I have to go tree to get another well pump , she said I sorry but it the way we do thing, heck no , I spent $350 just for a well pump and all I get is I am sorry , then the lady on the phone didn’t understand me , so what do I do , go somewhere else, don’t buy from tractor supply , they only warranty there stuff for 30 days heck no I want go . Read moreI've had two separate encounters with a super aggressive, blatantly rude cashier named Paul while trying to pick up purchases. One ended with him following us to the car while continuing to yell at us when we gave up on getting help because he told us nobody else was working in the store. The other ended with him yelling at us and accusing us of lying (no idea what he's referring to there) and backtalking his supervisor in front of a long line of other customers after she asked him to leave while she helped us. There was no leadup in either case other than trying to tell him what we needed while he talked over us and worked himself up. On the second occasion we simply asked him to get someone else to help because we recognized him from the first incident, and that was enough to send him into a rage.
