I honestly want to love this place but they’ve ruined it for me and themselves and it’s so frustrating. I’ve tried here 3 times and got the same thing (or tried to) each time. The first time it was fantastic!!! I was so ecstatic to find such a tasty treat. They made it correct and quick! The second and third time went almost exactly the same. Every time I went, I got the tiramisu cocoa, with the normal boba it comes with and added popping strawberry. It was exactly how I ordered it the first time.. the second, they had the regular boba but didn’t add the strawberry boba. I had already paid for it, with the extra charge of those and they wouldn’t add it or even give me it in a cup to add myself at home. The third time, the person tried to repetitively argue me and tell me not to get the popping strawberry in it because that isn’t normal for that drink and I quote “you better not give us a bad review for this” and the A-Hole put the strawberry in and not the regular with it!!! And still charged me for the extra add in again! The flavor was fantastic the first time. whether it’s normal to one person or not, it’s not their place to speak to a customer like that. Some people like chocolate and fruit, as someone in customer service it isn’t your place to judge and proceed to tell people that they better not give you guys a bad rating. That itself earned it, not even considering the lack of attention. Like other people have stated, there are plenty of other and cheaper boba shops that taste just as good, most are better, in town that don’t treat you rudely and will correct their...
Read moreWhen we entered, no one was there. Two minutes later, a worker entered through the front door. The menu has hundreds of drinks, but none of them are boba. Only on the IPad at the register do they have options for the boba. Suspicious, I ordered a classic bubble tea with lychee popping boba. The classic flavor was cheap, bad quality Indian chai, which certainly did not pair with the lychee boba. I dumped the tea into another cup and just had some of the lychee boba by itself. After tasting my boba tea, the other people in my group got mango lassis and water. Mango lassis are not on the IPad, so they had to go outside to the Cosmos Indian store to ring up the lassis. The mango lassis were made in the back of that store, not the Boba and Beyond store. It took the workers about 5 minutes to get the water that was ordered. However, the cup of water was 1/3rd filled with weird splash marks around the cup; in addition, the water tasted weird. At the end, the worker claimed that “classic” flavor of bubble tea tastes bad without any flavor added. We left extremely disturbed, some in my group stating that “it is unbelievable that a place like this exists in America.”
Reply to owner: The intention is to have the reviews reflect the quality of an establishment. Your initial high rating was an extreme misrepresentation of the quality of everything from the boba itself to the service. After falling for that trap, I’ve put “warning signs” so other people don’t fall for that same trap....
Read moreedit: got a call about the review asking for it to be taken down. maybe other negative reviews are also being taken down? who knows. tread carefully. may have just had a bad experience but with the high prices and cosmos association, I don't feel confident about trying again :(
first of all, the menu item pictures online seem to be either ai generated or taken from google images. some of the descriptions also seemed to just be google definitions and not actual descriptions of the food being served. it was hard to navigate an online order. we went ahead and ordered just to give them a shot though. service was slow even though we were the only people there. took about 15 minutes for 2 drinks. my order was wrong and missing components. I got a matcha with red bean but it was just matcha. it was the thickest, grainiest, most bitter matcha I have ever had and i couldnt drink it beyond one sip. i believe it was around $7.50 too so i was disappointed. I'm just confused how I'm supposed to know what I'm ordering when they aren't using original pictures or descriptions for their products. seems like there is some mishandling in how they are marketing their products. they are also owned by the same people who own Cosmos, which i have had similar bad experiences with. I would not go back or recommend...
