Parkland RV Center — Local services in Leadington

Today, we are buying our very first rv from Parkland RV Center. Which is has been a big decision for us. We have spoken to numerous dealers all across the US and none of them can even compare to the customer service and quality of this dealership. We arrived to the dealership after a long trip, an hour after they had closed and both Blaine and the owner Craig were there to greet us happily. Their domain expertise is clear, based on their intricate knowledge, actual camping experience, and the trend setting models they carry. Blaine spent an hour, just outside, showing us every single detail, small and large, and we were hooked. (We are extremely picky, have been on the hunt for a year). Following that, we had to have spent an additional almost two hours in Blaine’s beautiful office asking him our hundreds of questions about the rv and just about rving in general and he spent the time with us, not once eluding to us taking up his evening time, (even though I’m sure he had had a long day). I’ve never experienced such genuine people, and this is completely unexpected from a dealership, in my perspective. They are really good honest people. It felt like we had known them for years.

My whole experience of purchasing a used travel trailer from Parkland RV Center went quite well until I received my RV in Texas. The first thing I noticed was that whoever prepared it for shipping did not do it correctly the dinette table was not taken off the wall and packed securely for the road trip Thus broke free and came off the wall and in the process rip the bracket off the wall. Whomever broke down the hardSide to prepare for towing did it wrong it’s done one way and one way only . They did it the complete opposite way which put a lot of stress on one sides hinge. Once I got the unit home and set it up I started testing all the features everything seem to work but the refrigerator would not get cold they assured me that everything tested out fine there. Well if it tested out fine there it should be working here but it doesn’t. When I asked the owner if he would help me with the cost of getting it repaired he said no. First time Rv'ers so our knowledge of what to look for was minimal. Most places seemed more worried about the sale then to make sure we felt comfortable with our purchase. Parkland RV, especially Blaine, was such a joy to work with in our search! Blaine even stayed late for our first visit. We eventually decided not to purchase the particular camper that we were initially interested in and they were very understanding with absolutely no pressure.

When we happened to find another camper, Blaine went to work and was able to get us a great deal! We had no hesitancy in making the 14 hr roundtrip. After inspecting the camper and making the purchase they took the time to go over everything on the camper including towing and making sure our lights worked.
