I switched to this pharmacy from Pharmex in Festus which is absolutely wonderful. In the beginning Festus would have to explain to them how to bill my wife’s life sustaining anti rejection medication, but eventually they got it figured out (or so I thought) and it was smooth sailing for over a year. For the past two weeks I’ve received excuse after excuse why they didn’t have my wife’s anti rejection medication. I’ve had multiple calls with the Barnes Jewish Transplant line who assured me they’ve sent absolutely everything they could possibly need to bill the medication. Last week I paid for it out of pocket because they said they didn’t have what they needed to bill insurance. I explained this was life critical medication and that we had to have it, to only later be told it was on back order from their supplier and wouldn’t be ready until early the next week. I returned when the medication was supposed to be available (and we were completely out) to be told they still didn’t have what they needed. I again called the transplant line at Barnes who stated they would contact the pharmacy and let them know it was critical. I returned to the pharmacy only to be told it wasn’t available. I told them we would have to goto the emergency room and they miraculously produced it if I would pay for it out of pocket. Zero communication from the pharmacy to let me know it wasn’t available, even after repeatedly being told it was a life critical medication. This behavior is inexcusable. It’s a travesty to the hard working Pharmacists at the Festus location who can bill it perfectly to be associated with this location. I hope that none of you have to deal with this level of incompetence. I just paid $166.80 for the medication and left. (Picture of...
Read moreWe have used this pharmacy for years without problem. They have recently hired a new delivery driver and everytime he comes here it’s nothing but problems. We have told them to honk and someone will come to the fence. We have dogs and gates and no trespassing signs. The delivery driver neglected to honk so he decided to climb my fence come in posted no trespassing. Surprised the dogs didn’t get him. So I called and told them to honk. He comes lays on the horn no toot to it. Freaked everyone out. Thought there was an emergency. No he was just being smart. Common sense you don’t climb a locked gate and you dont lay on your own to give the elderly disabled a heart attack. Honk and wait a minute for someone to come out if no one comes out then honk again. He’s not an emergency responder. He surely can’t trespass. Seems to be pretty...
