The Leadington, MO Hardee's was the breakfast go-to for us. After this mornings experience, this will no longer be the case. I placed a delivery order online for delivery through the Hardee's website using my registered account. Order totaled $50.13. The third party that Hardee's contracts with for delivery (DoorDash) sent a driver to pick-up the order. The driver calls me from the store stating that they do not have the drinks we ordered. Would we like to substitute or cancel them. We said to cancel and refund since we don't want soda for breakfast. The driver lets the employee know this. The employee proceeds to begin loudly yelling that they do not do refunds so what do they want. Driver relays this info even though I clearly heard from the raised toned of the employee. I told her that we didn't want anything else, so again, a back and forth where the employee yells about not processing refunds from third party vendors. I replied to the driver that we ordered directly from the Hardee's website, not a third party vendor. Again, a back and forth. The employee continues to get louder and clearly has an attitude. At this point, I tell the driver to not worry about it since the employee is acting like that. The driver lets me know she will be sure to grab my receipt so I can try to get my money back. The driver arrives with order and lets me know she reported the issue to DD even though they have no control over the issue. Hands me my food and receipt. I open the bags/food to find that one of the gravy items wasn't closed and had spilled all over the inside of the inner brown bag and all over everything inside. Purposely? Who knows. I looked at the email receipt to find at the very bottom it CLEARLY STATES to contact the store and gives the phone number for the Leadington location for issues. I call, ask to speak with the manager. I am immediately given attitude and asked what my name is. I again aske to speak with the manager. This time I am told that I am speaking with the manager. I repeat everything that went on about half hour before. She proceeds to argue with me and tell me that I used a third party vendor to order (I did not) and that she can in no way refund me for the drinks. She then uses the tactic that they are not allowed to issue refunds. She then resorts to outright stating she wouldn't issue a refund. At this point we now have a restaurant that is keeping customers money when they don't provide products. Rude customer service to not only the customers but the drivers who should NOT have needed to deal with that. Crummy food that was cold and over-cooked. Only great part of this entire order...the DD driver! She was a true sweetheart that kept her composure and apologized. Why?! It wasn't her fault! She even went to bat and said she felt the Hardee's employees were having a rough morning. Talk about someone...
Read moreMe and my buddies went here tonight and got three $5 all-star meals. Me and one of my buddies got the double cheeseburger and spicy chicken meal, while the other got a 3 chicken tender meal. When we got our food, me and the friend that got the same meal as me had good food, the 3 chicken tenders my other friend got however tasted and looked weird, he said they looked burnt. I took one and looked it over and noticed it smelt odd as well. I took it and smelt it and the thing smelled like an absolute ash tray. It was as though people flicked cigarettes into the chicken or something. The taste wasn't good either, as I took a bite to try it and it tasted like it smelled. When my friend went to the counter to complain and maybe suggest something was wrong with the fryer, the person behind the counter was very helpful and turned around to talk to the guy cooking. When she told him there might be something wrong with the fryer, he simply looked towards my friend and with attitude said, "What do you want me to tell you?" My friend didn't want more food because he assumed it would be just as bad as the first ones he had gotten. Now mad because of the attitude he received, he came and sat back down with us. He told me what happened, and I got mad as well. Me and my other friend finished our food and we all left. Read moreNikki, however you spell her name. was absolutely RUDE! me and my girlfriends family came through the drive thru 08-10-25 at around 2:10 pm and got 2 superstar combos, 1 quesadilla meal, and a 5 pack of tacos. she read our order back to us at the speaker and it was all correct. when we pulled forward , she then handed us one drink, didn’t specify which one. and closed the window. she handed us our coke and we said we were missing a drink , she looked at us and said there was only 2 drinks. we said no, it was just read as a combo. she stared at us while my girlfriends mom counted her money, not even telling is whag the total would be since we didn’t get a combo and wanted to pay the difference , when nothing is being said. she shut the window, walked away, came back, opened the window, and said “sprite? you want a sprite” very rudely. i have now been sitting here waiting for my food for 10 minutes, which is fine. but just rude. $45 spent and that’s the treatment you give as a MANAGER? something needs to be said because it was overall a bad experience. i visit hardee’s in leadington 1 time a year if that , because of this EXACT reason.
