KFC — Restaurant in Leadington

If you like eating in "Hell", this is the place for you!!! This particular KFC location is the hottest store we've ever visited. We recently visited this location, not once, but twice, just to see if there was any difference. We went there for their buffet, as this is the only local store that offers the buffet. The only credit I can give to the store, is that the food was actually very good on their buffet. Other than that, it would have been cooler, to stand outside, in direct sunlight, at 110 degrees, rather to eat in the extreme intolerable heat, inside this store, that we experienced during our two visits, which were the last week of April and the first week of May 2019. We ask the girls working the front register, on both visits, if they could please turn the air down a bit more. The first girl, on the first visit, said that it was set on 69 degrees, and I said to her that it must be broken, and she and other employees laughed. I asked if there was a manager available and she explained that he couldn't do anything about the AC because it's controlled by corporate KFC. On both visits, we couldn't even finish our meals completely, because we felt sick and had to leave. This particular store has also just recently had a remodel, so none of this makes any sense at all!!! We would like to return to this store, as we do enjoy the buffet, but we will be unable to return, if something is not seriously done...

Ok, let me start by saying the petite young lady taking orders was great. She was the only person at the front and even still when the rest of the staff started to show up she was running circles around them trying to get stuff done (she seems to have a great sense of urgency).

So now to the rest, The lobby was atrocious. There was not one single clean table. I understand it's lunch rush at 12:30, I would think however you would want to maintain standards at any point in business operations.

On to the other employees I would assume to be management that appeared seemed to just "linger" instead of actually participate. As a former General Manager of a much larger operation with much more to manage, in my opinion there is no reasonable excuse. and this all while the employees seem to just find something to do as though they are lacking proper directive.

The food, I love KFC original recipe. It was one of my favorites when I was a child when i worked for KFC in my teens and remains my favorite. This location however the flavor was not there. It lacked the seasoning I know from KFC. The biscuits seemed dense And It just didn't feel like the meal I grew up knowing and making in my teens.

I would urge KFC to spend some time with this location and make it what it should be. It's a fantastic looking location and having the buffet is awesome as there aren't many...

something has changed in the last few months, & its certainly for the better. the new girls are kind, always get my order correct, keep it fresh even if im 10 min late, & are very experienced , kind! & most importantly, calm & non confrontational. when i pick up my food. im extremely pleased with how much better of quality this specific location has gotten with its employees, speed of service, & overall quality of the store.

because the Farmington location is completely out of the question for violently lacking in all of these things, flat river kfc has my heart & my monthly funds i now set aside just for this location after a hard day. especially with the ease of use in ordering & scheduling for that 30 minute car ride via the app.

the only thing i wish for, is that a large mashed potatoes with how much i pay, wasnt just a single scoop in a small container, but filling the container to the top, or even adding a second mashed potatoes as the large. just a small suggestion💖you are loved, & thank you for being kind & non stressful when i...
