First, i want to say I did not complain while I was there, I tipped my hairdresser AND I did say it was ok before I left, however I really don't like conflict especially since my 5yr old daughter was also getting her hair cut (which ended up being INCREDIBLE). I just had a baby 2 months ago and just wanted something special and different to boost my confidence a bit. I made the appointment over the phone for both of us and immediately was called back and told that the particular stylist they booked us both with wouldn't have time to do us both. Ok no problem! We got there and I will only speak about my experience because my daughter had a INCREDIBLE experience. This was supposed to be a mother daughter day as well. I sat down and explained and showed pictures to this stylist and was met with opposition, I KNOW my hair is SUPER thin and I know MOST styles will make it look thin cause it's thin. I even went as far as to say I trusted her experience and was like let's talk about it so we can make this the best hair cut possible. She was very "this won't look good, this will make it look thinner, this won't work" I guess I was looking for something more like we will make this work let's talk about it. I spent the rest of the time asking her questions basically trying to get her to engage with me finding a friendly conversation and common ground so it didn't feel as awkward. She never let me see what she was doing my back was turned away from the mirror the whole time. She let me look at the cut before she styled it and it looked correct to me. She said she had to tweak it or something and then we went to wash it and style it. I sat in complete silence while she teased my hair for what seemed like forever and all I could think was please stop. Made me feel like she was putting lipstick on a pig if you understand the phrase. Would I recommend this salon...yes honestly I would. But as far as the lady that did my hair, no. I'm actually not sure what I did to offend her or make her do what she did to my hair but it was humiliating. I cried when I got home and restyled it and just play the waiting game on letting it grow out. My hair ended up NOTHING AT ALL what I showed her in the picture...

My rating is just based on customer service here. I had an appointment scheduled for a while now with Kiersten. I'm only in Texas for a few weeks at a time and like to plan head for hair services while I'm in town since I'm constantly in different states. My time is very limited so this experience has me very disappointed.
When I arrived I walked in and it took about 5 mins before I was even acknowledged even though kiersten was sitting right at the front. Not even a "we will be with you in a minute" was said. Finally when another male walked in I was finally asked by her if I had an appointment. I told her what time my appointment was and she looked shocked. I had scheduled a color consult and cut back to back. It felt like she had no idea I was on her schedule today. She was in the middle of coloring someone else's hair and stopped what she was doing so she could quickly just do the color consult. I had to tell her it was for a cut too. I didn't want to be rushed so I said I'd wait for her to finish thinking it wouldn't be long since I had an appointment. She then just walked away leaving me in the chair and said "you can just go get something to eat and come back". She didn't even give a specific amount of time to come back in, I had to ask. She then said 20 mins. I drove 40 mins to come to this salon and I was on time to my appointment. I understand things happen but a phone call ahead of time to let me know she was running behind would have been appreciated.
I'm not sure what the point of having a schedule is if you aren't even aware of who's on it, especially me being a new client. I guess she doesn't really need new clients at this time. It was such a...
Read moreI had an appointment today with my hairdresser at 3:30. I showed up at 3 and when I walked in a young lady asked if I had an appointment and I told her yes I have an appointment with (name of my hairdresser) Unbeknownst to me, my hair dresser had moved to a different salon. It was just a miscommunication between me and my hairdresser. Any way. I am sitting there waiting about 20 minutes later a man asked if I had an appointment and I responded the same as the first time. He said oh ok and went on his way. Well I’m starting to wonder what’s happening because my hairdresser is still not there. At 3:45 an older lady asked who I had an appointment with and when I told her the exact same thing I told the other two she told me that my hairdresser was no longer at that salon. I just think that is very inconsiderate and rude to do that to someone. Even if for some crazy reason my hairdresser returned to this salon I would...
